Tenet Envoy

Tenet Envoy - Toxin

This discreet rocket launcher is equally at home in a board meeting or on a casual outing. Aimed rockets are wire-guided for greater accuracy, but travel more slowly. The patented Granum Attaché System reloads the weapon when holstered.

Tenet Envoy - Toxin

Why Use This Build?

  • This build only requires 4 Forma.
  • This weapon can easily kill level 150 Steel Path Acolytes.
  • This weapon is capable of doing headshot damage to enemies which is particularly good against Overguard.

How to Use This Build

  • Toxin Progenitor is best for innate Viral damage without any Elemental Mods.
  • It is preferable to use melee or secondary instead of reloading because the reload speed is slow but holster reloading is relatively quick.
  • Avoid aiming down the sights because it slows the projectile. Instead, quickly aim down sights to redirect the projectile if you missed a shot. This is not much of a detriment to mobility if you are used to it, just shoot when you are closer to enemies and aim for the ground.

Mods

  • Cautious Shot - This allows you to use the Tenet Envoy with frames that don't use Primed Sure Footed. Ammo and Projectile Speed are not issues for the Tenet Envoy.
  • Galvanized Chamber - Multishot
  • Primed Cryo Rounds - Cold damage is not needed to make Viral but is included for the added damage.
  • Primed Firestorm - This dramatically increases the range and increases effective damage (by reducing falloff by 66% because the falloff applies to a larger distance).
  • Amalgam Serration - I like the Sprint Speed but this isn't important. The added Damage is good too but only adds with the Primary Arcane. Bane mods can be used instead but I prefer not to switch between loadouts.
  • Vital Sense - Critical Damage
  • Critical Delay - I prefer this over Point Strike due to the higher Critical Chance. The lower Fire Rate is rarely a problem.
  • Hammer Shot - Critical Damage is very good. The extra Status Chance is also nice.
  • Hunter Munitions - This allows scaling into Steel Path because it tends to lack the damage to one-shot tougher enemies like Acolytes.
  • *You can opt to use [Vigilante Fervor] or [Speed Trigger] in place of Hunter Munitions or Hammer Shot but this is not a good idea without additional Reload Speed from another source.

Arcanes

  • Primary Dexterity is used for my build with Ash Prime.
  • Primary Merciless is generally better, especially if you aren't using melee.

Rivens

  • Ideal Positive Modifiers: 57.2% Critical Chance or higher, 70% Multishot or higher, Critical Damage
  • Decent Positive Modifiers: Toxin, Cold, Damage, Status Chance, Faction Damage, Reload Speed, Projectile Speed
  • Bad Positive Modifiers: Electric, Heat, Punch Through
  • Ideal Negative Modifiers: Puncture, Slash, Zoom, Weapon Recoil, Ammo Maximum, Impact, Damage to Infested, Status Duration
  • Decent Negative Modifiers: Magazine Capacity, Damage to Corpus
  • Mods to Replace: Amalgam Serration or maybe Hammer Shot if you have Multishot or Status Chance to allow for consistent Viral procs

Appendix

  • Using Exalted weapons does not count as holstering this weapon so it will not reload during that time if the weapon was equipped when the exalted weapon is activated.
  • Holster reloading speed is increased by Reload Speed and the Synth set bonus.
  • This weapon has higher range (8m vs 7m base) but more falloff (80% vs 70%) than [Kuva Zarr]. This means that the [Tenet Envoy], in terms of falloff and range is a pure upgrade to the [Kuva Zarr] unless you consider the [Zarr]'s bomblets. I have found that the bomblets rarely matter because they explode on walls but they are effective against Nullifiers. The Kuva Zarr is also far worse at killing Steel Path Acolytes than the Tenet Envoy because the Tenet Envoy has higher Slash procs.
  • The final range of this weapon is 13.28m compared to 11.62m on Kuva Zarr with Primed Firestorm or 13.78m on Kuva Bramma with Primed Firestorm.
  • This weapon has an 84.50% chance of at least one Viral Status Effect when Galvanized Chamber is active.
  • This weapon has a 45.36% chance of at least one Slash Status Effect when [Galvanized Chamber] is active.
