Divine Lotus Flames | Reaping Chakram DPS Nuke

INTRODUCTION

The augment [Divine Retribution] allows you to spread status among ALL speared enemies, then when spears end, all current status is compressed and multiplied in an "expedite suffering" like effect which is scaled by strength.

[Reaping Chakram] doubles the damage of chakram after each enemy hit and throwing chakram into divine speared enemies causes each chakram to duplicate and apply heat procs. [Archon Vitality] doubles the amount of heat procs applied each hit, and then when divine spears ends all heat procs are expedited killing all speared enemies ideally.

PLAYSTYLE

  1. Activate Warding Halo (3) when you are surrounded by enemies (can use [Rolling Guard] for positioning so you don't die while you do this). This will let you absorb damage and be immortal for 3s, converting it to halo health and give you a halo health of potentially into the hundreds of thousands. Upon breaking, warding halo gives 2s i-frames.
  2. Optional if not subsumed: Keep [Firewalker] (1) active for passive heat procs and move speed
  3. Cast divine spears (4) to lock down rooms of enemies for crowd control and allows [Divine Retribution] to spread all status effects. Shoot enemies with a status weapon to nuke all enemies affected by spears in 50+ metre range OR throw Chakram to deal dps.
  4. Cast blazing chakram (2) to debuff enemies and spread heat status DPS. When cast on speared enemies, each chakram will multiply into two and the debuff effect will spread rapidly compared to un-speared enemies. Killing debuffed enemies also drops both health and energy orbs.
  5. Whenever you lose shields, just cast abilities like chakram and divine spears to reset your shield gate.

Survivability
CASUAL TANK
In non-enduance (levels < 500), [Nezha] can tank using a combination of health, armor and damage reduction (90% from Warding Halo, 90% from adaptation). You will need to swap Stretch or Reaping Chakram for Adaptation, and add Arcane Guardian +/- Arcane Blessing over Molt Augmented/Eruption. ENDURANCE SHIELD GATING
Survivability in Endurance (levels 500-1000+) is mainly by using i-frames generated by activation of warding halo (3s) and breaking of halo (2s), combined with shield gating as well as crowd control from Divine Spears:

  • With [Brief Respite] and THREE augur mods (can be spread across your warframe and secondary weapon), 150%+80% energy is converted to shields. At 45% efficiency, a single cast of chakram costs 39 energy which generates 99 shield which gives 1.33s iframes with [Catalyzing Shields] and about 0.8s without. A single cast of Divine Spears however costs 155 energy which generates 418 shield, giving 1.4s i-frames without catalyzing shields.

Energy Economy
Nezha can sustain negative efficiency well due to Blazing Chakram and Equilibrium. Flow/[Primed Flow] is advised but not mandatory.
Blazing Chakram forces a 100% chance to drop a health orb on kill, and a 35% chance to drop an energy orb on kill, while [Equilibrium] converts health orbs to energy. This means every kill on an enemy affected by chakram gives 55 energy back and every 10 kills gives an average of 575 energy. When you add [Reaping Chakram], the chance to drop health orbs is further increased.

BUILD SPECIFICS

Duration
Low duration to neutral is preferred so Divine Spears will naturally end. Duration doesnt affect 3, and Blazing Chakram has a decent base duration of 15s. You could swap [Augur Reach] for [Transient Fortitude] to reduce duration even further.

Efficiency
Can be dumped due to [Equilibrium] converting health orbs generated by Chakram.

Range
Max range gives Divine Spears a 53m range, meaning you can spread statuses to enemies over 50m away.

Strength
Affects the debuff of chakram, size of warding halo and expedite multiplier of [Divine Retribution].

Flexible Slots
[Archon Vitality]: This is a FLEXIBLE SLOT, being only useful for doubling heat procs from [Reaping Chakram] and also giving a bit of extra EHP.
[Reaping Chakram]: This is another FLEXIBLE SLOT, being only useful for getting extra health orbs and increasing the damage of Chakram.

[Rolling Guard] and Catalyzing Shields: You can use one or both of these to improve survivability, particular useful in solo endurance.

ARCHON SHARDS

  • 2 amber cast speed shards
  • 1 tauforged azure Shield Capacity shard is optional - this boosts shield capacity so you maximum possible i-frame (without overshield) is closer to 1.3s rather than 0.7s at default. This means you could drop Catalyzing shields for more strength or reaping chakram.
  • 2 Crimson Strength Shards.

HELMINTH OPTIONS

  • Roar - this is the preferred ability since Roar double dips DoTs like slash from weapons, triple dips electric from influence melee, double dips heat from chakram and triple dips the final Expedite from Divine Retribution.
  • Breach Surge - stuns enemies including Eximus allowing to do deal bonus stealth melee damage to them, and releases sparks on damage or death which 'double dips' with chakrams vulnerability debuff assuming both the initial spark and spark hit occur on enemies hit by chakram.
  • Silence - stuns enemies briefly and prevents Violence from dispelling abilties as well as eximus from using abilities
  • Ensnare and other grouping options
  • Gloom - crowd control and healing
  • Nourish - boost viral damage and multiplieis energy gain
