[002] An Actual Good Glaive Build

Nulla. Rundown:

"The [Glaive Prime] is a deadly and beautiful weapon from the Orokin era. The blades are as effective in close quarters as they are when thrown at distant enemies."

One of the if not, the strongest melee in the game. Most frequently used to kill Steel Path trash mobs with ease and even One-Shot level cap demolishers, with little setup. This is achieved by its monstrous heavy explosion forcing slash procs and ease of use, making it easy to sustain an extremely high KPM.

No Prime/Amalgam? Just use the regular variants of their respective mod.

I. Unlisted Recommendations:

Primary/Secondary AoE Viral Primer (for Endurance Settings):
A primer is the term used to describe another weapon (external source) that is allotted to the role of applying multiple status effects before using your primary weapon of DPS. Most melee builds will heavily benefit from multiple status effects not only the viral status effect due to running [Condition Overload], this is not the case for the [Glaive Prime] (on explosions). For the [Glaive] specifically (and all thrown melees), [Condition Overload] is not used because it does not affect the damage of the AoE blast on heavy detonation. However, it still recommended to at least bring a viral primer to further enhance the damage of the forced Bleed DoTs inflicted upon detonation.

II. Flex Slots:

[Killing Blow]: it is your weakest mod here and can be subbed out for a riven if you want
[Power Throw]: though its multiplier is the among the biggest with this build, it's a zero mod if you don't upkeep it, thus [Gladiator Might] would be your substitute here (still viable against trash mobs)

III. Other Factions:

Corpus:
Remove: Killing Blow, Primed Smite Grineer
Put In: Primed Fever Strike, Primed Smite Corpus

Infested/Corrupted:
Remove: [Primed Smite Grineer]
Put In: [Respective Smite Mod]

Acolytes/Factionless:
Remove: [Primed Smite Grineer]
Put In: Gladiator Might

Glaive Prime is so strong that you can keep the default configuration and it'll still shred them, but for the min/max ig.
