Heavy in the hand with a bone-crunching kickback. This Prime version of this shotgun adds remote detonation of the weapon's airburst round.

Hello there, this is my first ever build made on this site, so I'm kicking this off with the Corinth Prime.
Now, while this build IS expensive, it's relatively simple to use. Get kills - get galv. mod and arcane stacks. Simple and easy.
I haven't tried the build in steel path for an extensive period of time yet, so I don't have much to say about that use case, but this thing WRECKS in lich/sortie level missions. Just the airburst is enough to obliterate large groups of grineer and infested at those levels. However, corpus and their pesky shields can tank those, now, that WOULD be an issue if the airburst was the only thing it could do. The primary fire shreds just as much as the burst. My personal suggestion is to just adapt on the fly and kill with both the airburst and primary fire.
However, for steel path I do have a suggestion - use the airburst's high status chance as a primer for the primary fire so it benefits from [Galvanized Savvy]. In steel path in general the airburst kind of falls flat on damage, so the primary fire will be your bread and butter here.
In conclusion - airburst is a main attacking tool in sorties with grineer and infested, as well as kuva lich missions; the primary fire is most useful with corpus, sisters of parvos and steel path and in those it should be used in tandem with the airburst's high status chance. As long as you keep getting kills, you should be free to decimate everything.
