Hello everyone,

My name is UltimoFive and today we are going over the [Aksomati Prime], The Twin Shredders.

Weapon information

  • [Aksomati Prime] is the Prime Version of [Aksomati] and was released alongside [Baza Prime] and [Ivara Prime]. In order to obtain the [Aksomati Prime] one must open a variety of relics that contain the Blueprint, 2 Receivers, 2 Barrels, and a Link in order to make it at the foundry.

  • Aksomati Prime requires a mastery rank of 12.

  • [Aksomati Prime] comes with 2 "V" and a "Dash" Polarity Slot, plus a "Dash" Exilus Slot. Because of this, the builds on this weapon will require 3 Forma.

  • [Aksomati Prime] excels in Close to Medium Range Combat, dealing with High Leveled Enemies of all factions against Small to Medium Crowds.

Comparison to the Original Aksomati

The Aksomati Prime had a lot of buffs when compared to the original Aksomati. These stats would be:

  • Higher Base Damage at 20.0 Vs. 18.0

  • Higher Status Chance at 18% Vs. 8%

  • Higher Fire Rate at 13.33 Rounds per Second Vs. 12.5 Rounds per Second

  • Larger Magazine Capacity at 80 Rounds Vs. 70 Rounds

  • Larger Ammo Reserve at 880 Rounds Vs. 420 Rounds

  • Slower Spool-Up at 11 Rounds Vs. 6 Rounds

Advantages Vs. Disadvantages

Advantages:

  • High Critical Chance at 24%

  • Very High Critical Multiplier at 3.0x

  • Very Fast Fire Rate at 13.33 Rounds per Second

  • Large Ammo Reserve at 880 Ammo

  • Large Magazine Capacity at 80 Rounds

Disadvantages:

  • Poor Ammo Efficiency

  • Requires a Spool-Up of 11 shots before Fire Rate and Accuracy reaches max values

Builds

Corpus | Tested up to Level 150

Toxin:

Viral/Electricity:

The Elements for the Aksomati Prime against the Corpus will be Toxin and Viral/Electricity. Electricity stuns the target for 3 seconds and deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds. The Build's Flex Slots are Hydraulic Crosshairs or Pathogen Rounds in the Toxin Build and Convulsion or Primed Expel Corpus in the Viral/Electricity Build. The Toxin Build is made to go up against Corpus enemies in the Steel Path, while the Viral/Electricity Build is made to go up against Corpus enemies in the Normal Star Chart. Both Builds end up working fantastic against all enemies in the Faction, including enemies that have Alloy Armor and are Robotic Class enemies.

Corrupted & Grineer | Tested up to Level 150

The Elements for the Aksomati Prime against the Corrupted and Grineer will be Viral/Heat. Viral amplifies health damage by 100% for 6 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 325%. Meanwhile, Heat deals 50% base damage per second over 6 seconds while stripping up to 50% armor and causes targets to panic. The Build's Flex Slots are [Primed Heated Charge] or [Primed Expel Corrupted] and Grineer and work very well against the Corrupted and Grineer. Heat gets amplified from Viral Procs, while the Slash Procs do occasional True Damage to help against armored enemies. With Slash and Heat together it easily melts all enemies in the 2 Factions.

Infested | Tested up to Level 150

Gas:

Viral/Heat:

The Elements for the Aksomati Prime against the Infested will be either Gas, Viral/Heat, or Corrosive/Heat. Gas deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds in a 3 meter radius and stacks up to 10 times to a total of 6 meters. The Build's Flex Slots are [Primed Heated Charge] or [Primed Expel Infested] and all Builds work great! It was fairly surprising that 3 different Element combinations worked against the Infested. However, Gas and Viral/Heat perform the best in the Steel Path and I would further suggest those 2 Builds over the Corrosive/Heat, which works more in Deimos.

Recommended Alternative Mods

  • Hornet Strike - In place of Galvanzied Shot if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration or doesn't have it. This also will mean that the player will need an extra "V" Polarity Slot instead of a "D" Polarity Slot.

  • Barrel Diffusion - In place of Galvanzied Diffusion if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration or doesn't have it.

  • Pistol Ammo Mutation - In place of Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation if one doesn't have it.

  • Target Cracker - In place of Primed Target Cracker if one doesn't have it.

  • Pistol Gambit - In place of Primed Pistol Gambit if one doesn't have it.

  • Heated Charge - In place of Primed Heated Charge if one doesn't have it.

  • Expel Faction Mods - In place of their Primed Counterparts if one doesn't have them.

  • Lethal Torrent - In place of the Build's Expel Faction Mod if one doesn't like using Faction Mods.

  • Galvanized Crosshairs - In place of either [Hydraulic Crosshairs] at the Cost of one more Forma in the Corpus Build, or In place of Primed Pistol Gambit in order to get the weapon's Critical Chance over 100%.

  • Ice Storm - In place of Frostbite if one would like more Rounds in their Magazine and are okay with sacrificing some Cold Damage and Status Chance.

  • Carnis Stinger - In place of Primed Heated Charge if one would like to just go Viral/Slash and have a Higher Status Chance.

  • Seeker - In place of the Elemental Flex Slots, [Primed Heated Charge], [Convulsion], and [Pathogen Rounds] in order to have Punch Through that helps into the Steel Path's Missions.

Synergy with Aksomati Prime

There are several ways to enhance Critical Stats and Damage for this weapon:

Damage:

  • Rhino's Roar adds bonus damage.

  • [Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of damage increase by 100% against primed enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing blast damage.

  • Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.

  • Mirage's Eclipse adds a massive damage bonus during the day or in light.

  • Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more vulnerable to Damage.

  • Wisp's Haste Reservoir bolsters Fire Rate, in turn increasing DPS.

  • Banshee's Sonar gives a huge damage Multiplier.

  • Chroma's Vex Armor when Health gets damaged increases Weapon Damage.

Critical Stats:

  • Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.

  • Volt's Electric Shield when shot through adds a 200% Critical Damage Multiplier.

  • Yareli's Passive increases Critical Chance by 200% after moving around for at least 1.5 seconds.

  • Zephyr's Passive increases Critical Chance by 150% while airborne.

  • Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give a 60% Critical Chance boost.

  • Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give a 200% Crit Chance.

Arcane Synergy

  • Arcane Precision - On Headshot, 100% chance for 300% damage to pistols for 18 seconds.

  • Arcane Awakening - On reload, 60% chance for 150% damage to pistols for 24 seconds.

  • Arcane Avenger - Upon getting hit, 21% chance for 45% Critical Chance for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Pistoleer - Upon Headshot kill with Pistol, 60% chance for 102% Ammo efficiency for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Velocity - Upon a Critical Hit, 90% chance for 120% Fire Rate to Pistols for 9 seconds.

  • Arcane Arachne - On Wall Latch, 150% Damage for 30 seconds.

Secondary Arcanes:

  • Secondary Merciless - On Kill 30% Damage for 12 seconds, which stacks up to 4 times and comes with 30% Reload Speed and 100% Max Ammo.

Riven Synergy

When you get your hands on a Riven for this weapon the Flex Slot to replace will be what was previously discussed before. This may require 1 - 2 more Forma and in order to maximize Damage output with the Aksomati Prime, one will need to get lucky and get some nice stats. My ideal stats would be:

Ideal Faction Stats - My Ideal Stats would be; Fire Rate, Critical Damage, Critical Chance, and Negative Zoom.
