Substitutions:

If you don't have a nice riven substitute use Blood Rush. I believe that this would be one of the better substitutes for it. If you have primed Fever Strike I would recommend using it over Virulent Scourge as it adds an extra 5k to the damage.

Personal use:

I use this as my main melee weapon as it's a very nice weapon for all enemies.I have no problem with this build in arbatrations/sorties. It will begin to struggle heavily on infested at high levels like steel path Deimos but other than that it does fine.
