A titanic blade modeled after some of the very oldest swords, this weapon was designed to slice through massed enemy troops in a single stroke.

Ironbride Viral+Slash 1st Config

Update 04/12/2021 :

  • After some proper testing I've decided to drop Heat completely and run 60/60 viral mods in order to make the weight of Slash higher, the extra mod slot from dropping Heat allowed me to use Sudden Impact for more status chance, you can read more about it in my old text. Added some new text to the guide. I won't be changing the Corrosive and Radiation configs.

This is my 1st out of 3 configurations for this weapon, they all share the same polarities.

4 forma because I'm changing the Vazarin polarity that comes with this weapon so that I can fit all my different configurations in it.

Viral+Heat Viral+Slash is currently the best elemental combo in the game since Slash bleed ticks ignore enemy armor and Viral boosts your damage at 10 stacks by 325% to enemy hp.

Pay attention, your viral mods need to be the 60/60 ones otherwise they outweight your Slash chance and then they'll proc more, your damage will come from those bleed ticks from Slash procs. If you don't have viral 60/60 mods then run my old build with 120% viral mods and 120% Heat instead of Sudden Impact.

Sadly Ironbride's weakness is the low attack speed and low status chance. But there is a mistake on this website and in game/wiki stats. Here it says Ironbride has 10% status chance but in game/wiki it says it has 15%. So knowing that, there might be an argument of running 60/60 mods instead of the 120 because that would allow us to proc more slash procs and with the ridiculous amount of base crit chance/crit damage and raw damage this weapon has, those bleed procs would deal some heavy damage on the enemy. Sadly that's still only food for thought since we can't use necramechs in simulacrum so we can't do proper testing.

Our current status chance is 42%.
