Rock'n'Rolla Atlas | Steel Path Landslide Endurance

INTRODUCTION

This is an endurance steel path focused build using Landslide to deal damage and the [Rubble Heap] augment to allow Landslide to be spammed for zero energy cost. Helminth option is flexible, e.g. armor strip for scaling the raw damage against armor, crowd control for survivability or breach surge for both crowd control and damage.

Survivability
Landslide provides short i-frames (invulnerability frames). Crowd control from the helminth ability and petrify prevents [Atlas] from taking damage in between casts of Landslide. Armor from Rubble (up to 1500) gives some damage reduction (which falls off on steel path). Additionally, we implement shield gating. With [Catalyzing Shields], [Atlas Prime] has 111 shields. [Brief Respite] means casting either Terrify or Petrify refills 112 shield which resets the 1.33s shield gate with each cast.

STAT STICK

A crit based stat stick is the best option. Currently, incarnon melee's apply their evolutions to pseudoexalted. [Magistar] with Magus Aggress gives the highest potential damage. Ceramic Dagger has the next highest potential damage with the highest +CC bonus of +30%, giving landslide a base of 35% CC, which goes to 227% at x12 combo, giving red crits. Magistar without Magus Aggress is the third best choice, giving 16% cc and 1 CD followed by Sibear (+25% CC), Skana (+25% CC) and Nami Solo (+21% CC).

PLAYSTYLE

  1. Use petrify to turn groups of enemies into stone, then kill them with your weapons to generate rubble, until you get above 1400 rubble
  2. Spam Landslide to kill enemies
  3. Spam Terrify as needed in between casts of Landslide
  4. Occasionally petrify enemies as rubble gets close to 1400 to sustain rubble

BUILD SPECIFICS

Duration
Use neutral or positive duration for Resonator uptime or other helminth ability. Otherwise if you are not using helminth you can even have duration negative (70%ish) since Petrify has a long base duration. Primed continuity is therefore flexible.

Efficiency
Rubble Heap makes Landslide cost no damage, and equilibrium +/- Energize sustains the spam of terrify and petrify, which are very costly abilities.

Range
High Range is needed for increasing the AOE of Landslide (approx 14m at 3+ hits), Resonator [Charm] radius, Petrify cone length and Rumbler's petrification radius. [Augur Reach] has been used here over [Stretch] simply for the shield [Regen] set bonus. Swap this out for [Stretch] if you don't need the shield gating.

Flexible Slots
Natural Talent, Augur Reach and Streamline are flexible slots for Stretch, Path of Statues, Rollling Guard/Adaptation.

If you have energy issues (e.g. don't own energize), you can drop Blind Rage for Transient Fortitude.

Aura

  • Brief respite - allows petrify to reset shield gate in one cast

Exilus
Can run anything you prefer e.g. vigilante pursuit, conductor

Helminth Options:

  • Terrify +/- Creeping Terrify augment - armor strips enemies radially through walls, crowd controls them and slows them down by 80%.
  • Resonator - Completely shuts of enemy agressive AI and prevents you from taking damage. Conductor augment is an option over cunning drift if you plan on camping in a room or want to control it better
  • Nourish - Gives Raw Viral Damage boost to Landslide AND every kill will trigger self damage via Combat Discipline which triggers a 28m AOE forced viral proc with 2s cooldown.
  • Ensnare - Group enemies so you can petrify and landslide larger numbers of enemies at once, giving quicker rubble accumulation
  • Shooting Gallery - will need [Muzzle Flash] augment over either augur secrets or umbral intensify. Every 6 kills with blind and stun enemies in a wide range, even through walls.
  • Breach Surge - blinds enemies and creates sparks that can scale off your Landslide damage which then damage surrounding enemies
