This build is the part of the build series about Endo farm on Yam, Sedna in Steel Path mode.
We're using [Ripkas] because of its unique mod [Amalgam Ripkas True Steel] which makes game to account every hit of our weapons as if it was dealt primarily with Slash Damage type.
This, despite fandom wiki description, does not mean we can kill enemies with Slash Status Effect damage i.e. Bleed and still dismember enemies' bodies. Instead line "+100% Gore Chance" means it's highly likely that we bisect them with the last hit or corpse hit. I'm using the phrase "highly likely", because to succesfully bisect every enemy, you must always aim at the torso, which you won't do for sure just out of common sense.
Hence, here is classic Slash weapon build to maximize our DPS.
Generally speaking, there are 2 ways to build this type of weapons. First and the most common is to use Viral + Slash, which is good enough and can be chosen by some players due to its lower mods' cost. Second, which is shown here, is when you skip Viral at all to get [Primed Smite Grineer] and [Amalgam Ripkas True Steel] (or [Gladiator Might] when you do general build).
In terms of numbers exclusively, second build can increase your sustained DPS by 15% or more due to how [Primed Smite Grineer] works. Not only that, but your Slash also stops to conflict with Viral which maximum potential let me remind you is achieved at 10 stacks and after 5 hours of testing, I've never seen any more than 5. So, as long as you have your maximum Combo counter, you can deal maximum damage from the very first hit. For the same reason [Primed Pressure Point] is being used instead of [Condition Overload].
