With the ability to roll being added to [Assimilate], this build is no longer especially useful. It remains as a Thing You Can Still Do.

I can already hear you going "but Assimilate prevents you from jumping!" and while you're right, you're also wrong. Vial Rush can be cancelled by jumping, and doing so while on the ground will propel Nyx into the air even with Assimilate active... which lets you start aim gliding, which has momentum that totally ignores Assimilate's speed reduction.

Also Vial Rush is one of the best mobility tools Nyx has ever had access to in general.

How-to/general gameplay loop:

• Keep Absorb(your 4) active to completely prevent damage, unless you need significant vertical mobility or want to nuke an entire tile.

• Cast Vial Rush(your 1) to rapidly reposition while Absorb is active.
  • You can cancel Vial Rush by jumping during its rush, which, if you were on the ground, will propel you into the air even if Absorb is active... which allows you access to Aim Glide and Slam Attacks without having to fall off a ledge. Use this for greatly increased horizontal mobility.

• Cast Psychic Bolts(your 2) to reduce the armor of small groups of enemies for much easier kills.

• Cast Chaos(your 3) to cause chaos greatly reduce threat from nearby enemies, if your allies or a defense objective are having trouble.

Why this choice/other options:

• Replacing Mind Control with Vial Rush - Mind Control is not very good except in very specific circumstances that Nyx herself has trouble setting up. Vial Rush provides much-needed mobility while Absorb is active, and makes enemies much slower and less likely to deal damage.

• Augur Secrets - Allows you to refresh your shield and, with exactly 24% power strength, Psychic Bolts removes only 99% of enemy armor rather than 100%, keeping armor-based weaknesses.

Tips and Tricks:

• Use a melee weapon with a forward-launching combo and some attack speed for additional mobility during Absorb. My personal recommendation is the Tenet Exec, because Vial Rush allows you to produce heavy slam attacks and it gives you additional bubbles for the amusement factor.
