The Pacifiers | Heat/Viral | Steel Path Viable - Status-Mania

Please like if this guide or build was helpful for you!

[Dex Pixia] looks bad at the outset to some, but [Titania]'s pistols can (and should) be supported by Arcanes and her frame mods, if you want to unleash the full potential. Don't worry, though. An arcane-less build with non galvanized and primed mods will work. If you plan to do endgame shoot for the best mods, but don't lose sleep over it otherwise. See my Titania Prime build that is meant to support these pistols. Two advantages of [Dex Pixia] is the recharging ammo and high rate of fire. We can make up for any perceived weaknesses in the stats utilizing that fire-rate.

There are two (I'm generalizing) viable builds...a crit build and a status build. Both make use of Arcane Precision (Stacking damage) and Arcane Velocity (fire-rate increase). With the crit version you are relying on high fire-rate to crit enough despite the poor base crit chance. This works really well until you hit steel path, difficult Liches and Sisters, or other challenging content.

Enter the status build...

The Mods:

  • As a general rule, mod to the conditions...find out more about that on the Wiki or from another player, but right now Viral/Heat is an excellent general combination against all factions and lets you utilize the higher bonus from Primed Heated Charge.
-feel free to stack up as many dual-stat elemental mods as you like, but with titania's fire-rate (boosted by Arcane Velocity, especially), you'll have no trouble stacking Galvanized Shot and maintaining max damage output. At a certain point, IMO, you maybe want some more base damage from single-stat elemental mods.
-Multishot - I build practically everything with it. Free bullets, extra status, more damage, more damage.

Playstyle:

Accuracy is low. You won't be sniping, but there's enough bullets to hit far targets. The high fire-rate means burst fire to conserve ammo or spray groups to get even coverage. Think of it like fertilizing your lawn...or better yet applying pesticide. A good even coat - enough to hit everything, but there is no sense in wasting. You have no punch-through and with that fire-rate you'll dump a [Mag] into a single enemy if you aren't paying attention. Most need a very quick burst. I mean very quick.

Also, go for headshots. You'll proc Arcane Precision and it's just good FPS play for obvious reasons cough damage.

Disadvantages and what to do about them:

-This build is mainly about the best damage possible while keeping the bullet output sane. We don't need more fire-rate. You can increase magazine capacity, but then you lose crucial damage mods.
-With no punch-through you need to not just spray dense groups of enemies horizontally. Fly above them if you can. This will increase headshots and open them all up for attack.
-For Sortie-level combat and lower you can likely do away with a mod or two in favor of some punch-through or extra magazine capacity. It will make the experience more enjoyable because you will still be mowing down enemies like you mow your lawn (easily, I hope).
