480% Ability Strength Wisp Min-Max Motes [Read Guide]

Summary

This build is a joke, not a bad joke, in fact, a really good one. But a joke nonetheless. In this little guide, I'll show you how you can use this joke properly to make certain missions that much fun.

The Build/Usage

This is just a build that maximizes the effectiveness of your reservoirs to insane levels using a high Ability Strength, mostly for a Haste Reservoir because with the entire setup, having +140% Attack Speed/Fire-Rate is REALLY good, with only one drawback, you have to use your Subsumed 4, collect an Energy Orb to proc [Energy Conversion], and proc [Growing Power] IN THAT ORDER to get a total of 480% power strength for your next cast, not including Pax Bolt since its technically not apart of the build. And that's why I rather use [Fused Reservoir] instead of Power Trip because even if you [Sacrifice] 15% power strength, I'm saving a lot of time running around trying to find a second energy orb for a second reservoir cast if you want to have both [Vitality] and Haste active at once. If not, feel free to switch it for Power Trip if you're only using one Reservoir type.

The next thing you can switch around to whatever you'd like is [Primed Continuity]. I rather use it instead of [Narrow Minded] since I appreciate the range in Defense and Mobile Defense, but if that's what you wanna go for, do it. And you might even save one Forma out of the 8 that this build already uses. Either way, this is the only true flex slot in this build. The rest is pretty much obligatory.

Utility

There is no Utility, use this to impress people in hydron or fuck up a Grineer's day in a void fissure for up to a whopping 960% power strength [Wisp] using this setup, without including Pax Bolt and [Power Drain].

Arcanes

Use whatever you'd like, there isn't much that is essential to this build, though I do recommend you NOT use Arcane Energize as you never want to have full energy to be able to proc [Energy Conversion] whenever you need it.

Compatibility

Literally, any other [Wisp] build you see with tons of votes is compatible with this one. Why? Well, that's the advantage of spending TWO UMBRA FORMA on a Warframe.

Optimization

Since this is a joke build, how about we take this joke a little too far. If you want to truly min-max this to its fullest potential. You'll have to use every source of power strength possible, meaning:

  • Blind Rage (+99% Ability Strength)
  • Umbral Intensify{3} (+77% Ability Strength)
  • Transient Fortitude (+55% Ability Strength)
  • Power Drain (+50% Ability Strength on next cast)
  • Empower (+50% Ability Strength on next cast)
  • Energy Conversion (+50% Ability Strength on next cast)
  • Pax Bolt (On headshot: +100% chance for +30% Ability Strength for 4s)
  • Growing Power x1 (+25% Ability Strength for 5s after applying a status effect)
  • Augur Secrets (+24% Ability Strength)
  • Power Trip (+15% Ability Strength)
  • Corrupted Warframe (x2 Ability strength)

So if you're doing this alone, this amounts to a total of 1150% Ability Strength. But if you want to go EVEN FURTHER BEYOND, you should do this in a group with the following setup:

  • At least 250% Ability Strength Equinox running Power Donation (Preferably having really good range)
  • Literally Any frame bringing Power Donation (Preferably a Protea made to CC with her 1)
  • 1320% Ability Strength Wisp Running Growing Power (Previous build but with 2x Growing Power + 2x Power Donation + Corrupted Warframe)
  • 1320% Ability Strength [Nidus] Running [Growing Power] (Same as previous)

Yes, it's pretty unlikely that wisp and nidus will both get buffed by the fissure, but this is a what-if that I'm willing to math out. So with this in mind, here's what you need to do to fuck shit up with an absurdly powerful Haste Reservoir.

  1. [Equinox] casts Pacify & Provoke with the [Peaceful Provocation] augment on [Wisp] and both [Nidus] and starts damaging enemies to keep the +15% ability strength from the augment
  2. [Protea] starts casting her 1 a lot to keep damaging enemies and casts dispensary once to spawn an Energy Orb
  3. First Nidus casts Empower, Collects an Energy Orb to proc Energy Conversion, Parazon Kills an enemy, uses a high-status Kitgun to headshot an enemy to proc Pax Bolt, [Growing Power], and maintain [Peaceful Provocation] to now have 1450% Ability Strength.
  4. Within 4 seconds of the kill the first [Nidus] casts Parasitic Link on [Wisp]
  5. [Protea], still casting her 1, casts Dispensary once more to spawn an Energy Orb
  6. [Wisp] repeats what [Nidus] did to proc every temporary Strength buff to now have 7130% Ability Strength, which is the HIGHEST possible Ability Strength value possible if I'm not wrong (you CAN also [Sacrifice] 30% power strength to save the time to cast every mote by switching Power Trip by [Fused Reservoir]. Which is recommended as at this point it doesn't make a difference)
  7. [Wisp] casts any reservoir within 4 seconds of the kill and voila, you've now become God or can kill a God

I would love to give video Footage of this whole setup but it's impractical and I can't find people to do it with me. So instead I will give proof that my numbers are right since the calculation is pretty straightforward.

"Does the Corrupted Bonus affect temporary strength bonuses such as [Power Drain]? What about Pacify and Provoke?"
Yes, all of that is what it is. I spent I good while testing out these niche details to confirm that all of this works the way it does in-game.

So now that we all can come to agree that this game sucks ass. Here is what a 7130% ability strength reservoir would look like using the Wiki's maximization feature (because I can't replicate this in-game yet :p):

Vitality Mote
Max Health: 21390
Health Regen: 2139/s
Haste Mote
Bonus Movement Speed: +1426%
Bonus Attack Speed: +2939
Shock Mote
Shock Damage: 357

Imagine killing with shock mote. Anyways, for the random player reading this comprehensive min-max guide to optimizing motes for an 8-Forma build, please, help my dream to come true.
