Viper Wrath - Ashe Special

Sometimes you buy a stinky Riven for 20p, gamble some kuva, and get rewarded with stupid amounts of crits.

Welcome to the Ashe Special, named for Megaman ZX Advent's protagonist who wields the Laser Shot, to which the [Viper]'s design looks strikingly similar.

The basis is the "[Viper] Acricron" Riven mod that on its own takes the ViperW to 66.6% chance for 5x crit. (at the downside of losing 8 bullets in the magazine) Optimizing damage on this isn't as simple as trying to slap on loads of Crit% and CritX on it over mods. Too much focus on those, and you find yourself with no damage numbers worth the multiplication.

Hahaha,* [Viper] goes V V V V V V — R

My favorite gun in this game; a lovely little spitfire, she is.

Q: Why not [Barrel Diffusion] instead of [Lethal Torrent]?
A: Multi of 1.6 at the higher speed is more DPS than Diffusion provides with its sole multi bonus that brings it to 2.1. [Galvanized Diffusion] requires sustaining full stacks to maintain superior performance, and otherwise loses out to Torrent. (Galvanized is also very late game, which I don't have access to yet.)

Q: What about your elemental damage?
A: Unlike Zero, a Tenno can equip more than just a single Buster Shot with elemental mod chips.

Q: For the Exilus, why not Steady Hands instead of Primed/[Pistol Ammo Mutation]?
A: Sometimes I get tired of aiming for the head all the time. I haven't actually tested [Steady Hands] with the ViperW to see how much more stable it is to use. If you're confident with your skills and stamina, by all means go for [Steady Hands]; I simply prefer the excess of ammo to pick up.

Q: Why no Arcane equipped?
A: Very endgame items that I don't have access to, and likely plenty others. If I had to pick, it'd be Deadhead. It reaches max power the quickest with 3 kills, and each stack decaying at a leisurely rate of 24 seconds. It's Rank5 perks are also the best, featuring the only additional damage upgrade as well as -50% Recoil. Merciless is useless when we have free ammo and a fast default reload speed, and >Dex is more useless here than in Dark Souls.
