The Crowd Killer | Kuva Nukor | Revisited

Hello everyone,

My name is UltimoFive and today we are going to be revisiting the [Kuva Nukor], The Crowd Killer.

Weapon Information

  • The [Kuva Nukor] is the Kuva version of the Nukor and is obtained by either vanquishing a Kuva Lich or trading from a player a Kuva Lich that they already conquered.

  • The [Kuva Nukor] has a max rank of 40. In order to obtain this level, the player must forma the weapon at least 5 times. Due to this feature, the player gains a total of 4,000 Mastery Points rather than 3,000. However, the builds in this guide only require 3 Forma.

  • The [Kuva Nukor] excels in Close to Medium Range Combat, dealing with High Leveled enemies of all factions in Small to Extremely Large Crowds.

Kuva Element Recommendation

With this weapon the player gets an option of having a Bonus Kuva Element, which caps at 60% based off the Progenitor Warframe you choose to spawn the Kuva Lich.

My Recommended Kuva Elements would be:

  • Toxin - Toxin deals 50% base damage per second over 6 seconds and stacks indefinitely with each instance having its own timer.

  • Impact - Impact causes the target to flinch and stagger backwards for 1 second. Also, for 6 seconds, it has a 10% chance to open up the target to Parazon Finishers, which stacks up 10 times for a total of 100%. However, this is here for a different reason that will be explained later.

Comparison to the Original Nukor

The Kuva Nukor had some buffs when compared to the original Nukor. These stats would be:

  • Higher Critical Chance at 7% Vs. 3%

  • Higher Critical Multiplier at 5.0x Vs. 4.0x

  • Higher Status Chance at 50% Vs. 29%

  • Larger Magazine Capacity at 77 Rounds Vs. 50 Rounds

  • Longer Range at 29 Meters Vs. 25 Meters

  • Lower Base Damage at 21.0 Vs. 22.0

Advantages Vs. Disadvantages

Advantages:

  • Extremely High Critical Multiplier at 5.0x

  • Extremely High Status Chance at 50%

  • Pinpoint Accuracy that is unaffected from Mods that decrease Accuracy

  • Consumes only 0.5 Ammo per Tick of Damage

  • The Beam can chain up to 2 nearby enemies within 9 meters of each other

Disadvantages:

  • Very Low Critical Chance at 7%

  • Damage Ramps up from 30% to 100% over 0.6 Seconds when firing. After firing stops for 0.8 Seconds the damage decays back to 30% over 2 Seconds.

  • Low Ammo Reserves at 210 Max Ammo, this is only enough for 2.7 Reloads.

Builds

Corpus: Tested up to Level 150 | Replace [Hornet Strike] with [Galvanized Shot]

The Elements for the Kuva Nukor against the Corpus will be Viral/Electicity. Viral amplifies health damage by 100% for 6 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 325%. Meanwhile, Electricity stuns the target for 3 seconds and deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds. The Build's Flex Slot is [Lethal Torrent] and is great. The [Kuva Nukor] Build I made previously didn't have a Corpus section, so it was nice to update in order to include this great combination that just annihilates the Corpus Faction.

Corrupted & Grineer: Tested up to Level 150 | Replace [Hornet Strike] with [Galvanized Shot]

The Elements for the Kuva Nukor against the Corrupted & Grineer will be Viral/Heat. Heat deals 50% base damage per second over 6 seconds while stripping up to 50% armor and causes targets to panic. The Build's Flex Slot is Lethal Torrent and works much better than my previous build, which was Corrosive/Heat. Sure Corrosive does well against a majority of the Faction, but, since the Fire Rate and Status Chance of the weapon is so high, it ends up working way better with max stacking Viral instead, alongside having tons of Heat Procs.

Infested: Tested up to Level 150 | Replace [Hornet Strike] with [Galvanized Shot]

The Elements for the Kuva Nukor against the Infested will be Gas or Viral/Heat. Gas deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds in a 3-meter radius and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 6 meters. The Build's Flex Slot is [Lethal Torrent] and can work great with either elements. Gas makes it so the Infested take even more Tick Damage in a huge AOE radius that will linger after death, conserving ammo. However, Viral/Heat does end up doing better in overall DPS due to the Viral Procs, but relies on consistently holding the trigger.

Condition Overload Status Builds

  • With Toxin

This [Condition Overload] Build is based off a Toxin [Kuva Nukor], which is also used in my previous builds. This is mainly here for those that don't want to farm a whole new [Kuva Nukor] just for utilizing a [Condition Overload] melee build. The way the Build is set up is to get all 3 statuses as quickly as possible through its 200% Status Chance, Elemental Priority, and increased Multishot. Multishot for the [Kuva Nukor] makes it so Statuses are applied more often. For example, if this build stayed at only 200% Status Chance with no Multishot and fired for half a second, you would only get 2 statuses. However, with 2.1 multishot, through Barrel Diffusion, you will get 4-6 statuses in the same time, as long as you have [Seeker] on. [Seeker] will not only increase the amount of statuses put onto enemies, but it also increases the amount of enemies you can apply statuses too, as long as they are aligned.
Also note, [Carnis Stinger] is ONLY on the build to get the weapon to 200% Status Chance. If one doesn't want to put it on, then replace it with Lethal Torrent.

  • With Impact

This [Condition Overload] Build is based off an Impact [Kuva Nukor], which only requires 1 Forma to use. The way this Build is set up is to get all 5 statuses as quickly as possibly. Yes, 5 statuses is possible with the [Kuva Nukor], if it has the Kuva Element of Impact. This is obtainable through the use of [Hemorrhage], in which the player can get 5 statuses 35% of the time when they get a Impact Status Proc. This can be tremendous into late game due to giving the player an additional 80% Melee Damage Boost on that enemy, compared to those who suggest going Magnetic. Also, if you don't even get the Slash procs, you will still be on par with builds that suggest Magnetic.

Recommended Alternative Mods

  • Galvanized Diffusion - In place of [Barrel Diffusion] if you have access to the mod through Arbitration and want to take the Weapons Damage to the next level. However, for the Condition Overload Builds I would highly suggest not using Galvanized Diffusion.

  • Target Cracker - In place of Primed Target Cracker if you don't have it.

  • Pistol Gambit - In place of Primed Pistol Gambit if you don't have it.

  • Heated Charge or Scorch - In place of Primed Heated Charge if you don't have it.

  • (Primed) Pistol Ammo Mutation - In place of having no Exilus Mod. This will cost 1 more Forma in order to have though, but can help with its Low Ammo Reserves.

  • Trick Mag - In place of having no Exilus Mod. This will cost 1 more Forma in order to have, except it should only be put on if you don't have a Carrier to Convert Ammo.

  • (Primed) Faction Mods - In place of The Build's Flex Slot in order to help deal more Faction Damage. This can be more helpful against the Corrupted & Grineer instead of the Corpus or Infested.

Synergy with Kuva Nukor

There are several ways to enhance Critical Stats and Damage for this weapon:

Damage:

  • Rhino's Roar adds Bonus Damage.

  • [Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of Damage increase by 100% against Primed Enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing Blast Damage.

  • Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.

  • Mirage's Eclipse mixed with her Hall of Mirrors adds a Massive Damage bonus during the Day or in Light.

  • Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more Vulnerable to Damage.

  • Wisp's Haste Reservoir bolsters fire rate, in turn increasing DPS.

  • Chroma's Vex Armor when Health gets damaged increases Weapon Damage.

Critical Stats:

  • Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.

  • Volt's Electric Shield when shot through adds a 200% Critical Damage Multiplier.

  • Zephyr's Passive increases Critical Chance by 150% while airborne.

  • Yareli's Passive increases Critical Chance by 200% after moving around for at least 1.5 seconds.

  • Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give a 60% Critical Chance boost.

  • Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give a 200% Crit Chance.

Arcane Synergy

  • Arcane Precision - On Headshot, 100% chance for 300% damage to pistols for 18 seconds.

  • Arcane Awakening - On reload, 60% chance for 150% damage to pistols for 24 seconds.

  • Arcane Avenger - Upon getting hit, 21% chance for 45% Critical Chance for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Pistoleer - Upon Headshot kill with Pistol, 60% chance for 102% Ammo efficiency for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Arachne - On Wall Latch, 150% Damage for 30 seconds.

Riven Synergy

When you get your hands on a Riven for this weapon the Flex Slot to replace will be [Lethal Torrent] for the Main Builds. This can require 1 more Forma and in order to maximize Damage output with the Kuva Nukor, one will need to get lucky and get some nice stats. These stats would be:

  • Ideal Stats - The Ideal Stats would be; Damage, Multishot, Fire Rate, and Negative Zoom or Negative Weapon Recoil.

  • Next Best Stats - The next best stats would be; Damage, Critical Damage, Multishot, and Negative Zoom or Negative Weapon Recoil.

For the [Condition Overload] Builds I wouldn't suggest putting on a Riven. However, if one still wants to, than recommended stats for ONLY the Condition Overload Builds would be:

  • Ideal Stats - The Ideal Stats would be; Punch-Through, Multishot, Status Chance, and Negative Zoom or Weapon Recoil.
