So you probably think... what a stupid build, low Strength, low Armor, it's probably weak.
Strength 130% is what we are aiming for. It means 90% Damage Reduction (max capacity) to start. Don't worry... You will not die, until you will [Reach] the level where it doesn't matter how much eHP you got.
But wait! There's more!
Splinter Storm have high Range and high Duration... which means long Damage Reduction and... low Damage? Yeah, until you use Mass Vitrify.
OK, OK, I'll explain!
Use Mass Vitrify, use Splinter Storm on yourself, destroy Mass Vitrify with Shattered Lash... and you are now MVP in your team.
The answer is synergy. And [Gara] is full of it.
If Mass Vitrify's barrier is destroyed by Shattered Lash and Splinter Storm is within the explosion radius, 50% of the glass fragments' damage is permanently added to Splinter Storm's damage per second until its duration expires.
Absorbed damage is calculated after additional damage from mods.
Absorbed damage can stack from repeated Mass Vitrify explosions inside Splinter Storm's radius.
Casting Mass Vitrify will also refresh the duration of Splinter Storm on [Gara], as well as any affected allies that contact the molten glass during its expansion.
We will gain so much damage, that we don't need more Strength.
With x12 Combo... figure it out :)
But how to obtain and keep that combo? Well... easy! All we have to do is... block enemies bullets/melees and try not to lose that x12. Naramon Focus School will help us with that.
Don't worry about Energy, until we kill enemies, there are plenty of Health/Energy Orbs around.
What we need is Duration to [Extend] Splinter Storm timer, and Range to [Extend] Splinter Storm radius for that huge damage. We will be... untouchable, powerful, highly helpful and all we have to do is... use our skills. Endlessly.
On top of that, Splinter Storm absorbed damage is affected by equipped melee mods including Base damage, elemental damage, and physical damage mods.
One more thing!
Shattered Lash is also affected by equipped melee mods including Base damage, elemental damage, and physical damage mods... and Rivens that add any of the aforementioned stats.
Can you already see how strong this build is?
No? Then I really can't help you. Shame on you!
And for the rest of you guys...
There's synergy between specific weapon and mod. If you want even faster combo count while blocking, pair this build and StatStick with Javlok and its Amalgam Javlok Magazine Warp.
