Pros:

• No effective MR requirement since it is not crafted in your foundry. It's an anniversary gift from the Lotus.
• Pre-installed catalyst, great for immediate mod freedom
• Highest critical chance of all burst rifles - guarantees yellow crits with Critical Delay.
• Virtually no usability issues - Stellar accuracy, minimal spread and recoil, and more ammo than you'll ever need.

Cons

• Single target, not consistent with the AoE meta (no, punch through won't solve this, though you are free to swap Amalgam Serration with Vigilante Offense)
• Low status chance, you will want to put elements that contribute to raw damage (though slash procs are easy to obtain with [Hunter Munitions]). I opted for [Wildfire] for a slightly larger magazine.

This setup is solid through Sorties and early Steel Path. I simply run Amalgam Serration to front-load damage and gain some momentum with the conditional boosts.
