Floating "U" of Death

While [Carrier] [Nautilus] is the easiest Sentinel to keep alive, I'm of the opinion that Sentinels in general are rather underestimated. [Diriga] gets it worse due to its extremely sad shields and armor (to the extent that the mods are pointless,) but I also believe the Floating U is also seriously underappreciated. There's no way to make him super-tanky, but this build should make him last longer than you're probably expecting at high levels.

Of course, there's no room for any support mods instead of [Vacuum]. If you'd rather [Helios] be less survivable but provide more support, drop the Synth mods and replace with your support mods of choice. If you're playing a frame that can heal your companion, you can drop [Repair Kit] too, but changing the build for that situation is tedious unless you're using a healing frame like 90% of the time (for my money, I find my paranoia is more satiated by keeping [Regen] anyway, even though I main [Nidus].) If you want to live dangerously, you can even drop [Animal Instinct] for [Calculated Redirection].

Of course, the question is, even if [Helios] survives a long time, what's the point if its not providing useful support abilities?

The point is DPS. Like [Helios] itself, [Deconstructor] is underappreciated because it's not great for crowds. It is a damage powerhouse, though, and if built right (see my build list for it,) you'll find that [Helios] will often steal kills from you even at level 100+. You could also just put [Sweeper] on [Helios], but at that point you may as well just switch to [Carrier], as you're presumably done with having [Helios] scan things. I've noticed that [Deconstructor] is much better at killing single beefy enemies, and [Sweeper] handles crowds better but takes longer to kill something once the level gets high (it of course entirely possible I'm imagining this or just building the weapons wrong.)

That being said, renzorthered's Verglas build is probably the best Sentinel weapon and build right now. It's great for sticking on [Helios] when there are new enemies like the Narmies to scan, or if you just want to use [Helios] because he looks cool. Still, [Deconstructor] is pretty effective and [Helios] will still kill stuff with it.
