Sentient tech merges with Corpus design to deliver this lethal sidearm. Fully automatic, it fires ricocheting, homing projectiles that release small clouds of Gas on impact. Alt-fire to release the entire magazine without homing as a single burst.

The Crowdpleaser

We've got few new mods and a few new factions since the last time I updated this build in 2020, but it's 2024 2025 now and the Crowdpleaser is better than ever!

We're still viral/heat for general use, but now we have Cascadia Flare for the damage backbone and [Pistol Elementalist] to solve our reload speed issues while also nearly doubling the damage from our copious procs.

If taking this against the Murmur, you have the option of swapping to blast/electricity and changing the arcane to Secondary Encumber. I won't say it performs strictly better than viral/heat with Flare, but it'll hang in EDA just fine and it is very fun. If you do this, you'll want to add another V polarity and use [Hornet Strike] to offset the loss of base damage from Cascadia Flare.

A quick note on Secondary Enervate: Tempting as it may be to make the funny homing dart gun crit, it's not really worth it here. [Cyanex] simply doesn't have enough base critical damage to make it worth using on its own. You can kinda get there on stealth frames by pumping final critical damage with with Arcane Crepuscular and Tenacious Bond, but you should probably just be keeping a high-crit primary or melee weapon around instead for the moments you'll actually need one.
