This simple 2 forma build is so insanely strong on such an easy to acquire weapon.

The triple elemental combo of Viral, Corrosive, and Heat is absolutely devastating against any faction, though most powerful against Grineer, Infested, and Corrupted. To summarize, Viral increases damage dealt against the target per proc, Corrosive reduces enemy armor per proc, and Heat decreases enemy armor by half, only 1 proc needed. It has the added effect of causing panic which basically stunlocks the target.

Now maybe you aren't so convinced from the DPS numbers. I assure you that with the 84% status chance added with the x2.5 multishot added with the insane firerate added with the punchthrough, along with a very favorable elemental damage spread for proc chance, you'll be tearing through hoards of high level units in a matter of seconds. You can also add the exilus mod [Terminal Velocity] but imho that's unneeded, 2 forma is certainly enough. There's no need for a weapon exilus adapter and an additional forma for the required mod capacity.

This weapon is sleeper OP considering it is so easy to get, and the most difficult mod in this setup is [Primed Shred] which is a login reward.
