The Cold Wind: Low Forma Frost with Reave

TL:DR Adaptation and rage can be swapped out, arcanes can be swapped out, exilus can be swapped out, reave isn't necessary

  • Personally, I would forma the aura too because I don't think the vazarin auras are great.
  • Reave isn't really there for damage since [Frost] can't make thralls, so losing duration isn't a huge deal. You could swap [Intensify] for [Transient Fortitude] if you want, though you'd have to play around with the other mods to manage the drain. Non maxed mods are your friend for this.
  • [Power Drift] is cool and all, but if you can get the power strength from [Transient Fortitude] (or [Umbral Intensify] like I do), holster rate and [Enemy Radar] are handy stats that usually make the game feel better. Sprint speed is weirdly high on drain, so I usually get it from amalgam serration.
  • [Rage] is there because I'm used to playing [Oberon] and arcane energize is low on my priorities. I haven't played enough to see how effective it is, so this can swap for something else. Blinding reave or the augment of you choice could go here.
  • Arcanes can be what you want/have, I like these two. I used arcane nullifier when I didn't have any rare arcanes because magnetic procs are always annoying.
  • If you don't have [Adaptation], you can fill with whatever you want. Shields or duration are probably good bets, but I haven't tested for myself so find what works for you.

Personal note: I put reave because I wanted a healing ability that wasn't visually out of place on [Frost]. Dissolving into a (probably cold) blast of wind looks and feels pretty cool, so there it is. Helminth is what it is, put in what you feel you need if you have the means.
