This is my go-to melee weapon all the time. It is an explosion build, and does massive shock DoT that can get into the tens of millions of damage with [Chroma] against Steel Path enemies, and it heals your Warframe every time you throw the [Glaive]. Throw in quick succession to gain the extra damage bonus from [Power Throw]. I have tested this in Steel Path, it works very well but needs a bit of a boost against extremely armored targets. Combine with [Chroma] or [Mirage] to easily get through Steel Path Disruption.

I would recommend using the [Cyanex], [Zakti], or [Kuva Nukor] to get a lot of procs on enemies, then throw and explode to kill all of them. [Zephyr]’s Airburst or [Valkyr]’s Paralysis with its respective augment, can pile up masses of enemies for extreme amounts of procs with [Condition Overload] sticks.

If you do not need to heal, replace [Life Strike] with [Volatile Quick Return] for extra explosion range.
