[B] Titania Prime - Index

Greetings!

Here's my Fairy Queen build for the Index.

Requirements

  • Some basic and primed mods
  • (Optional but recommended) Arcane Energize or Amber Shards (See: #Build)

Purpose of this build
This build aims for speed and efficiency in the Index. It is self-sufficient. It scales decently, due to how fast [Dex Pixia] (sample build) can kill enemies, and [Titania]'s ability to stay far away from enemy fire.

Abilities
You can acquire [Titania] parts during the Silver Grove quest.
She has 2 passives : +25% Bullet Jump & Rolling distance as well as Upsurge, which heals for 80HP over 20s herself and allies in a 15m radius on ability cast.
Both of which have close to no use in this setup.

Spellbind (1) can be cast on crosshair (TAP) or self (HOLD). This ability cleanses debuffs, and provides status immunity (including stagger) for its duration to allies caught in its range (including yourself), which makes it an important tool as you can cast spells while staggered (say : you hit a wall/door) and you will get caught by some debuffs sometimes (elec/fire proc,...).

Tribute (2) requires an enemy target, and will extract an offering (is a shadow of the target basically) of whichever enchantment is selected (wheel on the bottom right corner of your screen). Gathering this offering (has to be you or your razorflies) will grant a buff for yourself and allies within range :

  • Thorns grants 50% damage reduction,
  • Dust reduces the accuracy of enemies by 50%,
  • Full Moon buffs your razorflies and companions damage by 75% as well as their health and armor by 50%,
  • Entangle slows down enemies by 25%

Lantern (3) requires an enemy target. It makes it invulnerable and unable to move or attack, and enemies walking by within a certain radius (base 8/12/15/20m) will be pacified, charmed and receive Heat damage every second.
Hold 3 while aiming at the invulnerable enemy to make it explode, dealing Fire damage around it.

Razorwing (4) reduces your size by 75%, grants 50% evasion, a 10-meter [Vacuum] and most importantly makes you able to fly.
Your companion will disappear for as long as you are in pixie form, but [Animal Instinct] and its primed variant still apply.
Your weapons are replaced by [Dex Pixia] (Pistols) and [Diwata] (Melee).
Flying through a Nullifier Orb cancels the ability.
In the Index, Jad Teran can use Disruption Helmet (Scrampus ability, some kind of growing bubble around him), which will cancel the ability.

Helminth
Tribute and Lantern are most likely the ones we want to replace if you are looking to improve this build's efficiency.
There are a lot of possibilities, be it damage buffs (Eclipse, Roar, Shooting Gallery, Smite + Augment...) or strips (Terrify, Pillage,...).
Nourish is also pretty good, will cost 35 Energy and make every energy orb [Regen] 150+ energy, making it a very interesting choice for those of you who do not own Energize but still want to give such build a try. Even if you do, Nourish also make it possible to play with 2 pistols arcane, further increasing your damage output.

Build
Aura is up to personal preference. Since companions are not a thing in the Index, [Enemy Radar] compensates for the lack of [Animal Instinct], making it easier to track the very few enemies in the Index.
This build shares polarity of my Thermal Sunder [Titania] (see here), meaning Exilus has to be Zenurik (or not cost too much).
If you do not want to hold points, reducing this build requirements, I highly recommend putting [Ironclad Flight] in the Exilus slot. This mod disables [Vacuum], so you won't catch points while killing enemies. This makes the build reliant on someone being a holder, but reduce the requirements as you will only need to sustain energy to maintain pixie form.
[Primed Continuity] and [Transient Fortitude], the usual stuff.
[Primed Flow] and [Streamline] further helps with energy.
[Umbral Intensify] to increase your pistols' base damage. [Archon Intensify] requires you to lose HP before granting its bonus str (it works with [Titania]'s passive), which can be a viable alternative if you are running, say, [Combat Discipline].
[Quick Thinking] is a safety net, in case you take some accidental damage it will drain energy to stay alive, so that you don't lose all the points you are carrying. This is less important in case you are not holding them.
[Razorwing Blitz] : more damage, more speed!
Flex slot is up to you, be it an augment for the helminth ability you use (Smite for instance), Augur mod for str/dur (+ Brief respite aura (shield gating)), Enemy Sense/[Vigilante Pursuit] in case you do not have [Enemy Radar] and want some, and the list goes on!

Arcanes
Energize makes sure we do not run out of energy even considering the massive drain from carrying points combined to maintaining pixie form.
Please refer to #Helminth if you do not own one.
Running Pistoleer, Velocity or even Precision can further increase your pistols efficiency. Molt Augmented and Molt Vigor are also okay-ish ([Dex Pixia] base damage scale with whatever ability strength you have when you cast Razorwing).

Archon Shards
This build does not require shards to be efficient, unless you do not own Energize : you will most likely need Amber Shards in order to sustain the energy drain from the Index and Razorwing.

Gameplay
Sit on an energy orb pad, till it spawns.
Press 4 to become a smool fairy.
(Preferably) Hold 1 for status immunity. Refresh when necessary.
Shoot the bad guys (refer to your minimap/where the host is to find em).
