Hello everyone,

My name is UltimoFive and today we are going over the [Halikar Wraith], The Piercing Chakram.

Weapon Information

  • [Halikar Wraith] is the Wraith Version of [Halikar] and is obtained by buying the weapon form Baro Ki'Teer, when he has it in stock, for 350,000 Credits and 450 Ducats or can be traded from a player who has it at rank 0 with no Forma or Orokin Catalyst installed.

  • Halikar Wraith Requires a mastery rank of 13.

  • [Halikar Wraith] comes with a "Dash" and 2 "V" Polarity Slot and alongside this a "Dash" Stance Slot, because of this the builds on this weapon will require 1 forma.

  • [Halikar Wraith] excels in Close to Medium range combat and deals with high leveled enemies of all factions in small to large crowds.

Comparison to Original [Halikar]

The Halikar Wraith has a lot of buffs when compared to the original Halikar in different areas. These stats would be:

  • Higher Base Damage at 225.0 Vs. 149.0

  • Higher Critical Chance at 19% Vs. 17%

  • Higher Critical Multiplier at 2.3x Vs. 2.0x

  • Higher Status Chance at 35% Vs. 29%

  • Higher Explosion Radius at 5.1m Vs. 4.9m

Advantages Vs. Disadvantages

Advantages:

  • High Critical Chance at 19% to 21%

  • High Critical Multiplier at 2.3x to 2.5x

  • Very High Status Chance at 35% to 41%

  • Fast Attack Speed at 1.17

  • Thrown Glaive (Non-Charged) have guaranteed Impact procs

  • Thrown Glaive (Non-Charged) has a chance to disarm enemies

  • Innate 1 meter Punch Through

  • Heavy Attack Explosions have guaranteed Impact procs.

Disadvantages:

  • Low Impact and Slash Damage at 22.5 / 10% Each

  • Explosions cause self-stagger

  • The player is unable to perform melee attacks or block while glaive is in mid-flight.

Builds

Corpus Thrown: Suggested up to Level 145 (Forma: 0)

The Element for the [Halikar Wraith] against the Corpus will be Toxin. Toxin deals 50% base damage per second over 6 seconds and stacks indefinitely with each instance having its own timer. The Build's Flex Slot is [Primed Pressure Point] and is extremely good due to the weapons guaranteed Impact Procs. Along with Toxin this weapon just eradicates all forms of Corpus in a single throw. Making the [Halikar Wraith] truly a Corpus killer.

Corrupted & Grineer: Suggested up to Level 145 (Forma: 1)

The Element for the [Halikar Wraith] against the Corrupted and Grineer will be Viral. Viral amplifies health damage by 100% for 6 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 325%. The Build's Flex Slot is [Primed Pressure Point] and does well, but slower than the other factions. Due to not having Slash, one has to find an alternative way to deal with the Grineer Faction’s high armor and after several tests I found the best way to get rid of them. I’ll admit it is slower, but at least it gets the Job done and with the help of a frame it can do even better.

Infested Thrown: Suggested up to Level 145 (Forma: 0)

The Element for the [Halikar Wraith] against the Infested will be Corrosive. Corrosive reduces armor by 26% for 8 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 80%. The Build's Flex Slot is [Primed Pressure Point] and this build totally annihilates everything in one throw, but can occasionally take 2. The reason why I say Corrosive, is due to the innate blast damage when using the Halikar Wraith’s Charged Thrown Heavy Attack, which makes it better than other options.

Recommended Alternative Mods

  • Fever Strike - In place of Primed Fever Strike if you don't have it.

  • Pressure Point -In place of Primed Pressure Point if you don't have it.

  • Organ Shatter - In place of Amalgam Organ Shatter if one want a slightly higher Critical Damage Multiplier.

Non-Recommended Alternative Mods

  • (Primed) Smite Mods – They aren't really necessary in order to maximize damage. The player can choose to still add it though. However, sacrificing anything in the build can lead to severely crippling DPS.

Synergy with Halikar Wraith

There are several ways to enhance stats for this weapon:

Damage:

  • Rhino's Roar adds bonus damage.

  • [Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of damage increase by 100% against primed enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing blast damage.

  • Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.

  • Mirage's Eclipse mixed with her Hall of Mirrors adds a massive damage bonus during the day or in light.

  • Banshee's Sonar gives a huge damage Multiplier.

  • Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more vulnerable to Damage.

Critical Stats:

  • Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.

  • Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give a 60% Critical Chance boost.

  • Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give a 200% Crit Chance.

Arcane Synergy

  • Arcane Fury - On Critical Hit, 60% chance for 180% Melee Damage to Melee Weapons for 18 seconds.

  • Arcane Blade Charger - On Primary Weapon Kill, 30% chance for 300% Melee Damage for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Avenger - Upon being damaged, 21% chance for 45% Critical Chance for 12 seconds.

Riven Synergy

When you get your hands on a Riven for this weapon the Flex Slot to replace will be [Primed Pressure Point] and will only require 1 more Forma. In order to maximize Damage output with Halikar Wraith, one will need to get lucky and get some nice stats. These stats would be:

  • Ideal Stats - Damage, Critical Damage, Initial Combo, and negative Finisher Damage

  • Secondary Ideal Stats - Damage, Critical Damage, Critical Chance, and negative Finisher Damage

  • Corrupted & Grineer Slayer Stats - Damage, Critical Damage, Slash, and negative Puncture

Other Good Stats:

  • Additional Combo Count Chance, mainly with the Corrupted & Grineer build.

  • Toxin

Bad Stats:

  • Physical increasing stats, unless going for the Corrupted & Grineer Slayer

  • Elemental increasing stats, other than Toxin

  • Positive Finisher Damage
