Immortal Marauder {Petrify}

Raising the dead and Raiding the living, now done better.

Nekros is known as the best farming frame (courtesy of Desecrate), so, with the help of helminth -Petrify (Or more like it's augment, Ore Gaze)-, this build will be focusing on enhancing that aspect of him. Since both [Ore Gaze] and [Shield Of Shadows] scale off ability strength, I'll mainly focus on it. Note that focusing solely on ability strength makes this build lose all viability, as Nekros is innately energy hungry and a very squishy Frame. Therefore making this a sustain/ability strength build.

I'll be listing why I picked each mod:

  • [Equilibrium]: Synergizes amazingly with Desecrate, as health orbs drop extremely often with Desecrate active, giving you practically infinite energy.
  • Health Conversion: Thanks to Desecrate, gives a constant major buff to armor.
  • Despoil: To make the two mods stated above viable, as health orbs can only be absorbed when under full health.
  • Ore Gaze: Along with Desecrate, allows you to get even more loot from enemies. Scales with ability strength.
  • Shield of Shadows: Can scale -from ability strength- up to 90% damage mitigation. (Caps at 215% ability Strength)
  • [Adaptation]: Because of Shield of Shadows, the "slow start" weakness is covered, and with max stacks allows you to gain near damage immunity.
  • Blind Rage: Main ability strength buffer
  • [Transient Fortitude]: Secondary ability strength buffer

Petrify: Petrified enemies "shatter" on death, counting as a confirmed two corpses. Meaning Desecrate can work twice on the same enemy (While this is possible through weapons, it is much more inconsistent. This is because the weapon would need to get a gore proc, and a body can only be considered a maximum of two corpses, and that is if it's split through the torso). This along with Ore Gaze allows for "triple-dipping" on the same enemy (EDIT: This mechanic is currently broken. My best guess would be an accidental overwrite concerning the looting changes of update 25.8). On another note, the bonus damage from Petrify along with Terrify's armor strip practically leaves enemies armorless (if need be, as this is a very energy hungry combination).
(Chosen over Soul Punch as that is overall a pretty useless ability, and because, as a farming frame, [Nekros] focuses on collecting loot over all other things.)

Aura and Exlius:
These depend mainly on playstyle and are interchangeable, but here are the ones that are generally best on Petrify Nekros (In order of effectiveness, imo) (On non-prime [Nekros], the negative efficiency from Blind Rage makes Shadows of the Dead unusable. It's Manditory to use Endurance Drift on him):

  • Aura: Growing power, Brief Respite, Corrosive Projection, Steel Charge, Loot Detector, Enemy Radar, Sprint Boost.
  • Exlius: [Cunning Drift], [Power Drift], Thief's Wit, Endurance Drift, Primed Sure Footed, Handspring, Vigilante Pursuit, Speed Drift.
