[Arquebex]: Deimos Destroyer
Deimos Destroyer

The [Arquebex] is the ability weapon of the [Voidrig] Necramech's 4th ability.

Because it is an ability weapon it is not bound by reload or capacity. Its limiting factor is energy drain, which can be improved by efficiency and duration mods on the mech itself.

Because of this, the ideal build for the Arquebex is pretty straight-forward: Damage, damage, damage.

Mods

[Primed Rubedo-Lined Barrel]
[Parallax Scope]
[Dual Rounds]
[Hollowed Bullets]
These are standard mods, they don't need explaining. Maximise damage and critical. The Arquebex sports a 50% base critical chance so this is a no-brainer.

[Combustion Rounds]

[Venomous Clip]
[Electrified Barrel]
In this order.
For the most part, you'll be using the Necramech for Iso vaults. Pretty much every creature found on Deimos has a Fossilised health type.
Fossilised means there is a 50% weakness to blast damage, and 75% weakness to Corrosion. The [Arquebex] already does base blast damage so that's nice and convenient.

Why not Status Chance?

Status is good for weapons that don't have enough sustain to kill an enemy. Status procs help the user to kill faster and safer: certain procs do damage over time, others strip armour and shield, others do crowd control to keep you out of threat.

The [Arquebex] does not fall under this category. You will be hitting anywhere between 11million and 3billion AoE damage per shot with this thing.
Nothing in the Iso vaults or even Steel Path Cambion Drift is going to live long enough to get proc'd, let alone feel the effects of the proc. It's just not worth it for this weapon.

Why not Fire Rate?

Again, since everything was dying immediately it didn't make sense to increase Fire Rate. Sure you get to pop off more shots in the time you have energy to sustain this ability, but the Arquebex is a crowd-clearing monster. Only a few shots are needed in burst.

Why not Status Dual-Stats?

I've already established why we don't need the Status Chance so there's no reason to compromise on damage.

Why not [Critical Focus]?

I originally thought this was a good idea, until I wasted a forma on a V pol that I didn't need. The damn thing doesn't ADS so [Critical Focus] is worthless here.
