Hello everyone,
My name is UltimoFive and today we are going over my first frame build, which will be [Banshee Prime], The Howling Spirit.
Frame Information
[Banshee Prime] is the Prime Version of [Banshee] and was released alongside [Euphona Prime] and [Helios Prime]. In order to obtain [Banshee Prime] one must open a variety of relics that contain her Blueprint, Chassis, Systems, and Neuroptics in order to make her at the foundry.
Banshee Prime requires a Mastery Rank of 8.
[Banshee Prime] comes with 1 "Dash" and 2 "V" Polarity Slots and alongside this a "V" Aura Slot, because of this the builds on her will require 2 - 3 forma.
[Banshee Prime] uses acoustic powers in order to slay her foe. Whether it be revealing enemy weakpoints, suppressing gunfire in her vicinity, or emitting trembling vibrations to topple foes. She ends up being a great Crowd Control Support and Buffer for the squad.
Comparison to Original Banshee
Banshee Prime has been buffed compared to the Original Banshee. These buffs would be:
Higher Armor at 125 Vs. 100
Higher Energy at 175/262 Vs. 150/225
Higher Sprint Speed at 1.15 Vs. 1.10
One More Polarity Slot, which is a "Dash" Polarity
Advantages Vs. Disadvantages
Advantages:
Disadvantages:
- Extremely Low Armor at 125
Ability & Augmentation Overview
Passive - [Banshee]'s Passive makes all equipped weapons and Sentinel weapons silent. This is practically where her "stealth" comes from and by that I mean it just makes her weapons quiet so it is easier to not get detected. That is pretty much all there is about her passive.
Sonic Boom - [Banshee]'s First Ability knockbacks and ragdolls all enemies in a 180 degree cone and deals Impact damage. With her augmentation, [Sonic Fracture], it allows for temporary armor striping. This ability can be really good for giving the player some breathing room if to many enemies are in front of them and in the augmentations case can be good in high leveled areas where Grineer and Fossilized Infested armor make some enemies fairly tanky and harder to kill.
Sonar - [Banshee]'s Second Ability exposes critical weak points to everyone in the squad and gives a damage multiplier when hit there. With her augmentation, [Resonance], it triggers an additional Sonar pulse with the remaining duration on the ability. Sonar really helps with dishing out more damage, but sadly could affect weapons that aiming isn't necessary like [Ignis Wraith] or weapons that require headshots to really deal damage. For instance a player with [Argon Scope] would have to aim for the head and then switch to the weak spots and keep an eye on their Critical Chance Buff Timer. Other than this small issue it is an outstanding ability that gives a huge damage multiplier buff to those who aim for the weakspots. Also, as a tip make sure your energy color is bright like red in order to show the weakspots easier.
Silence - [Banshee]'s Third Ability stuns all targets entering the aura for 2 seconds and affects their hearing to sounds that alert them, as well as not allowing them to perform special abilities. With her augmentation, [Savage Silence], it multiplies the damage of standing finisher attacks on all affected enemies. Silence assists players during times that need to be kept quiet or just for stunning a large amount of enemies in combat and prevent special ability usage. Which is great, but her augmentation falls a little flat. It only works while they are stunned for the first time from Silence and by the time you complete a finisher on a single target the rest of the crowd isn't stunned anymore.
Sound Quake - [Banshee]'s Final Ability channels reverberations to violently shake the ground, dealing blast damage per second and staggers enemies caught within the radius or caught on the edge. With her augmentation, [Resonating Quake], she channels to create a single large shockwave that deals bonus damage at the epicenter, but damage decreases as the shockwave flows outwardly. This ability is the bread and butter of my second build in this guide and other than that is just used to give a bit of breathing room for the player and their squad.
Builds
Normal Combat:

The Normal Combat build for [Banshee Prime] utilizes a large increase to Strength, a medium increase to Duration, and small increases to Range and Efficiency. The Build's Flex Slot is [Resonance] and [Augur Message] which works very well into late game. Although she is squishy, [Adaptation] helps keep her alive longer and the increased health pool helps against toxin procs, which bypasses shields. Along with this is her large energy pool, which because her efficiency is being increased, helps with ability usage.
The Lazy Farmer:

The Lazy Farmer build for [Banshee Prime] utilizes an immense increase to Range, a medium increase to Efficiency, and a small increase to Strength, The Build's Flex Slot is [Streamline] and works perfectly for, well farming lazily. Any small Defense map, like Io, Jupiter or Interception map, like Xini, Eris that one can [Protect] all points consistently works amazing with this build. The only downside is that you are immensely squishy and if you are on higher levels you can get shredded in seconds. If you are worried about the decreased Duration, don't be. It doesn't matter when all you do with this build is smack that button for using Sound Quake.
Alternative Build: Takes one Umbra Forma, unless you don't want an Exilus Mod

The Alternative build for [Banshee Prime] utilizes a large increase to Strength with small increases to Range, Efficiency. Along with a reduced Duration when compared to the first build. The Build's Flex Slot is [Resonance] and works just as well into late game as the Normal Combat build. The build requires the use of one Umbra Forma and is completely optional to have this build. The increased Strength and Health due to Umbra Mod series stacking mixed with [Adaptation] really helps [Banshee] into Steel Path to keep her alive longer.
Recommended Alternative Mods
First off, the Aura slot can be whatever you want it to be in the Normal Combat and Alternative builds, but not The Lazy Farmer build, unless you use an Umbra Forma. As long as it benefits you and what you are during currently than realistically anything can work there. For instance [Growing Power] is a fantastic Aura mod to be on her. You could even use an Aura Forma on her so any mod could go there and not just Madurai "V" mods.
Intensify - In place of Umbra Intensify if you don't have it.
Continuity and Flow - In place of their primed counterparts if you don't have them.
Resonating Quake - In place of [Streamline] in The Lazy Farmer build. Although this turns the build into more of an "Active Farmer" build it does extremely well with clearing out missions like Io, Jupiter. However, for interception missions I strongly don't suggest using this mod for lazy farming.
Sonic Fracture - In place of [Augur Message] in the Normal Combat build. [Sonic Fracture] is good for removing armor, so when going into high leveled Grineer and infested missions it isn't a bad idea to swap this mod in.
Natural Talent - In place of [Resonance] in the Normal Combat build. Although you lose augmentation ability it can be worth it in most cases in order to improve casting speeds since all, but her first ability, has a small cast delay. If you want your open slot for Resonance you may substitute Streamline instead.
Utilization with Banshee Prime
[Banshee] can realistically utilize any weapon, but mainly benefits with Precision weapons. This is mainly due to her Sonar ability, which the weakspots can still be hit by an [Ignis Wraith], but it is better to have something that is precise. Such as: The [Tenora Prime], [Euphona Prime], [Catabolyst], and can even be procced with some melee weapons, although is harder due to not being able to really "aim" with a sword.
Considering [Banshee Prime] is a Support CC frame it is good to fit her into squads that are lacking CC or would benefit from [Banshee]'s Sonar Damage Multiplier. As well as this, her CC is extremely helpful in Deimos Isolation Vaults due to her Sonic Boom, Silence, and Sound Quake.
