Sticky Things | Alternative [Hydroid] Farming Build

Introduction:

Normally, you'd want as little range as possible, all the duration you can shove and possibly some strength for a subsumed [Ore Gaze] in a typical camping farming [Hydroid], but that's boring so this is an alternative way of using [Hydroid] from a certified [Hydroid] main. I encourage this kind of overly complicated playstyle because the point of this build is to be as active and sweaty as possible because I am a Gamer! ...and I [Hate] myself.

How it works:

"Why does this build have so much range and larva?" is something you may ask as you cringe behind blue screens, but i can reassure you that it's needed for larva to be a viable option at around 21 meters of range, Larva is there to pull as much enemies as you can towards you while you're resting comfortably in your Undertow waiting to follow up with casting Tentacle Swarm; Once they're all huddle up in a very inappropriately sticky situation, you can then roll out of the puddle with the safety of Rolling Guard to then safely dispatch enemies with a melee weapon or an aoe weapon.

Remember that Undertow is not to be used to deal damage, instead it makes for a very good forced Invincibility ability as your first active wall of survivability

Alternatively if you're not patient, you can just spam larva followed by a tap of tentacle swarm without needing to hide inside a wet floor hazard by relying on Arcane Aegis and the shield-to-[Energy Conversion] of Augur Reach

Mod + Arcane Choices:

1.Enemy Radar - For keeping track of enemy concentrations so you can properly utilize Larva to gather groups
2.Pilfering Swarm (tentacle swarm augment) - Primary mod, for forcing enemies to drop additional loot
3.Overextended - You don't need strength because you're purely relying on your weapons for killing with larva
4.Stretch - General use range mod
5.Natural Talent - Faster casting speed is good on a build this ability dependent

6.Primed Sure Footed - Every second counts, no time for taking naps and getting randomly killed
7.Rolling Guard - Great survivability mod since it uses invincibility frames, acts as your second wall of survivability
8.Augur Reach - A pocket Brief Respite to keep shield gating up as a third wall against damage

Arcane Energize - To keep energy pools up, not required since [Hydroid]'s abilities are already cheap
Arcane Aegis - Your first wall against damage if it's kind enough to work

Note:
-Not great in cramped areas because Larva is line of sight
-Not a replacement for khora since it requires you to be really active
-You can replace [Natural Talent] for Corroding Barrage if you need additional armor stripping
-Not the greatest way to farm, but certainly an enjoyable one, because there is no point in playing a gaming if you don't have fun.
