[Veldt] is, in my opinion, the best single shot rifle in Warframe. Despite being MR8, its stats and feel are spectacular and even rivals most weapons with single shot capabilities such as [Kuva Hind], [Tiberon Prime] and [Prisma Grinlok], and the first two are better off used as burst guns while [Prisma Grinlok] is unbearably slow and requires an entire mod slot for fire rate to [Reach] this level of cimfort. The only true rival is Kuva Quartakk, though it does lack the qualities of a DMR that the Veldt possesses.

Features:

• [Eagle Eye] upgrades the zoom function to sniper rifle level, making headshots very easy. The elevated critical multiplier makes this more rewarding.

• Extremely accurate even with Heavy Caliber, so that may be an option instead of Bladed Rounds.

• As critical chance approaches 100% Bladed Rounds becomes much more effectice due to multishot rounds critting much more.

• Aim to replace [Argon Scope] with a riven with critical chance, with decreasing priority for multishot, damage and critical damage. With a disposition of 1.3, it is not at all difficult to push crit chance over 100%.

• [Hunter Munitions] may be an option, especially for Steel Path, and due to the very high critical rate.
