The Optimal Amesha - Steel Path, RailJack, Open World

The mods and Forma are in order of importance. Although you can make use of shield gating effectively with [Amesha]'s 1 and 4, that won't help you against Toxin damage or the Toxin status effect. In light of this, it is best to have more health and armor. This build makes [Amesha] as powerful and durable as she can get. Whether you're playing Steel Path, open world, RailJack, or the Jordas Golem, this build will wreck it.

Quick Tips

Activate 3. Activate 4 until you have max energy (I usually just run into walls and the ground). At max energy, activate 1. If you, an ally, or an objective need healing or protection from damage activate 2. The 2 also draws enemy fire so its a decent decoy as well.

In Depth

  1. Your 3 should always be active. ALWAYS. It prevents status effects from you and all allies. This greatly reduces your chances of dying. It also slows enemies which allows you to shoot them more easily. Unlike normal Warframe, there is never a situation in Archwing when you want the enemy to be faster. Not in Open Worlds, not in RailJack, not in Jordas Golem, not in Sharkwing (the water submersible mode found on Uranus), and not in any other Archwing mission.

  2. Your 2 is great for escorting the drone in Plains of Eidolon or defending an objective. Any Objective in the bubble will be unkillable (except to melee attacks from ground units).

Mod Analysis

  1. [Energy Inversion] is not worth a slot. The Archwing can deal, prevent status effects, and just prevent damage entirely. On top of that, more shields means longer until the full shield game immunity is restored. This mod just isn't worth it.

  2. [Kinetic Diversion] will never be good on this Archwing. Why take health damage when your 4 is more efficient, more convenient, and impossible to die when using?

  3. [Superior Defenses] could be good. It just isn't for the same reasons as [Energy Inversion]. It is superior to [Energy Inversion] but only by a hair. Shield Gating is just not the main way this Archwing survives.
