This was my first build on Overframe, it has been a long time since then, and I still absolutely love the broken war. So I just wanted to share one of my personal all-rounder builds for it. I have used this sword for hundreds of hours, and I don't know how to describe it either than the fact it just "feels.. perfect". This is the one true sword you will ever need for every node of the starchart, and perhaps for a little bit beyond too.

No timed conditionals. No wall-latching. No heavy windup. Just press E, as it was always intended.
This config hits very hard even without max multiplier, needing only about 5 or 6x to deal consistently devastating damage.

Update: Stance forma is optional, Iron Pheonix has forced slash procs on the Neutral E which benefits time to kill, and handles a lot better, but isn't absolutely necessary. Use Swooping Falcon if you do not have a Stance forma.

Remember that dps on-paper doesn't always translate to best in-game. this build aims to work regardless of faction, without heavy endo investment, for any player whatsoever.
Note: If you do not have [Sacrificial Steel], simply use the regular version of it, True Steel instead.

Custom Tweaks are as follows:

If using viral status primer or vulpaphyla, replace 60/60 elementals with Blood Rush, followed by Heat/Electricity for stun or |Faction mods/Attack Speed(or Arcane Strike)/Drifting Contact/Range| for lategame.

[Gladiator Might] is essentially a cheaper version of [Blood Rush] here, with 10% instead of 40% crit scale, costing exponentially less endo, 1 less forma, & opting instead for high critical damage. This crit scale can be further boosed to 30% per combo by equipping unranked gladiator mods on your warframe, [Gladiator Aegis] & [Gladiator Resolve], if you have open slots.
Several frames have crit chance boosting abilities, very little have crit damage... This is significantly important if you play any frame that has such. Critical chance has diminishing returns the more sources it is derived from, Crit Damage doesn't. Ever.
Assuming you don't have a crit boosting frame or kavat, Or you simply want to see pretty Red Crits paper your screen (yes, i understand), swap it for [Blood Rush] + forma accordingly.

You can use a regular forma if you want to max Sac steel (save your umbral forma for Frames).

Replace [Buzz Kill] or [Gladiator Might] if you have a riven, depending on if slash is present.
