This Sentient war instrument can either barrage targets with explosive bolts, or, draw on its regenerative battery to create twin plasma beams that chain through targets. When fully drained, Health is leached from nearby foes for a short period.

APPLY CONDITIONALS
FIRE MODE
Nobody other than maybe a few friends might see this, but to the few who are actually seeing this, here's why I modded this the way I did:
All the base mods are a given, [Serration], [Split Chamber], [Point Strike] etc. If you don't have [Primed Cryo Rounds], regular [Cryo Rounds] will work, but at less efficiacy.
It's modded for Viral damage because Viral procs will allow the crits and overall weapon damage to be far higher after proccing. If you don't have [Primed Cryo Rounds], building for Corrosive is an option, although Viral is better in my opinion.
The Hammer Shot is to make the crit damage higher, as this build, with conditionals has a 57.8% crit-chance, so the crit-damage will boost the overall damage, as well as making the Status high enough to be capable of proccing often.
[Argon Scope] is to boost the crit up to a viable point. One [Point Strike] only leaves it at 37.5% which isn't good enough to actually proc crit enough. If you don't like [Argon Scope] I'd suggest putting on a [Critical Delay], and if you don't like the added crit then find another build(or just throw [Vigilante Armaments] or [Heavy Caliber] on it, though [Heavy Caliber] will ruin the alt fire.)
52.5% Status is good enough in my opinion when trying to proc status often. Infested Clip boosts the base damage more than [Malignant Force], making the crits do more damage in turn, and a tiny bit more status won't affect too much in terms of proccing a status, but the decrease in damage will affect the weapon far more drastically due to the crit-chance and multiplier.
Guided Ordinance is used because for this build, you're going to have to aim to get the buff from [Argon Scope], so Guided Ordinance will be helping out the weapon a majority of the time. Because the [Basmu] recharges it's magazine, and does not require ammo pickups, any Ammo Mutation Mod is straight up pointless. The only other Mod I'd use besides Guided Ordinance is Terminal Velocity to increase the projectile speed, although I strongly recommend using Guided Ordinance as it will make the Alt-Fire even more concentrated, and will also help the regular fire slightly.
