This arm-cannon, ripped from a Sentient, rapid-fires thermal pulses that explode in an electrical blast. Features an ammo-less quick charge capacitor, that emits a knock-back pulse and strips Sentient damage resistances when fully discharged.

TL;DR: She do work.
Tested in Steel Path and valid as of 09/08/2024 (Hotfix 36.1.6.1).

Simply point and shoot. Shoot continuously. Shoot the enemies. Shoot the walls. Shoot the floors. Shoot the ceilings. Don't ever stop shooting. See the numbers, taste the violence.

This build is viable for all modes.


The Red Dawn Edition is a special and pretentious designation that I use to denote weapons that carry harder than anything else in my arsenal. This build is considered an "End-Game" variant and is not feasible for newer players to attempt due to the associated resource cost. Please note that game patches may invalidate the effectiveness of a weapon and mod adjustments may render this build obsolete.

This build follows the principle of DPS (Damage per Shot, i.e. Direct Damage) being greater than DoT (Damage over Time, i.e. Status Condition). In practice, this means that we want your initial shot to ideally one-shot the target. In the event this case is untrue, we want our DoT effect (e.g., Slash) to one-shot the target on the first tick, which effectively ensures a one-shot.

The Shedu itself enjoys infinite ammo, guaranteed Impact proc on battery depletion, large projectile explosions, and non-arcing projectiles with infinite travel distance.

Primary Merciless increases our Base Damage on kill.

[Serration] increases our Base Damage.
[Galvanized Chamber] increases our Multishot, and further on kills.
[Point Strike] increases our Critical Chance.
[Vital Sense] increases our Critical Damage.
[Hunter Munitions] gives our critical hits a 30% chance to apply the Slash status effect.
[Infected Clip] increases our Modified Damage. (Viral)
[Primed Cryo Rounds] increases our Modified Damage. (Viral)
Vile Acceleration increases our Fire Rate.
Cautious Shot is used to prevent self-stagger.

For the projectile direct hit, Heat will strip up to 50% armor and Viral will amplify damage to health. This synergizes well when focusing specific targets.
For the projectile AoE hit, Electricity may chain-stun surrounding enemies, acting as a soft CC and Viral will amplify damage to health. This synergizes well for area control.
