An ancient weapon designed by the Entrati. Primary fire siphons life essence from the target to fuel a devastating secondary fire. A heavy, oversized automatic rifle with withering fire that delivers rapid heat damage. Secondary fire unleashes an arcing projectile that ricochets off surfaces and enemies, exploding on every impact.

Heaven's Lightbringer | Trumna | Revisited

Hello everyone,

My name is UltimoFive and today we are going to be revisiting the [Trumna], Heaven's Lightbringer.

Weapon Information

  • The [Trumna] is a Full Auto Rifle that fires Explosive Rounds, which has an Alternative Fire that Charges up upon getting kills. In order to obtain [Trumna] one must [Reach] the Rank of Associate with the Entrati. Once available it can be purchased from Father for a total of 12,500 standing and requires these materials in order to make it at the Foundry.

  • The Trumna requires a mastery rank of 13.

  • The Trumna comes with no Polarity Slots, other than a "Dash" Exilus Slot. Because of this, the builds for this weapon require 5-6 forma.

  • The Trumna excels in Close to Medium Range Combat and deals with High Leveled Enemies in Small to Extremely Large crowds.

  • The [Trumna] has an Alternative fire which is charged up by getting kills with it's Primary Fire. Once charged the player can release a Bouncing, Highly Explosive Grenade that deals massive damage.

Advantages

Primary Fire Advantages:

  • Above Average Critical Chance at 24%

  • Above Average Critical Multiplier at 2.2x

  • Very High Status Chance at 30%

Alternative Fire Advantages:

  • Very High Critical Chance at 38%

  • High Critical Multiplier at 2.4x

  • Extremely High Status Chance at 50%

  • Using the Alternative Fire doesn't consume Ammo

Advantages Overall:

  • Extremely Large Magazine Capacity at 200 Rounds

Disadvantages

Primary Fire Disadvantages:

  • High initial Recoil

  • Explosions cause self-stagger

Alternative Fire Disadvantages:

  • Explosions cause self-stagger

  • Explosions have a linear damage falloff from 100% to 60% from central point of impact.

Disadvantages Overall:

  • Very Slow Reload Speed at 5.0 Seconds

  • Slow Holstering Speed

Builds

Corpus | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

Viral/Radiation | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

Viral/Heat | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Elements for the Trumna against the Corpus will be Viral/Radiation and Viral/Heat. Radiation causes enemies to attack each other while dealing 100% additional damage to the allied for 12 seconds. This effect can stack up to 10 times up to 550%. The Build's Flex Slots are Primed Bane of Corpus for both Builds, however the Viral/Heat Build also has a Flex Slot of Bladed Rounds. Both work extremely well into late game with Viral/Radiation pulling ahead to help more with Flat Damage increase against Robotics and those in Alloy Armor. However, Viral/Heat can prove to be better when used with the weapon's Alternative Fire to just Heat Proc everyone that survives the Initial Damage.

Corrupted & Grineer:

Viral/Heat | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

Viral/Slash | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Elements for the Trumna against the Corrupted and Grineer will be Viral/Heat or Viral/Slash. Viral amplifies health damage by 100% for 6 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 325%. Meanwhile, Heat deals 50% base damage per second over 6 seconds while stripping up to 50% armor and causes targets to panic. The Build's Flex Slots are Primed Bane of Grineer or Corrupted for both Builds, however the Viral/Heat Build also has a Flex Slot of Bladed Rounds. Both Builds do work very well into late game, but I find that Viral/Heat works much better in the end. It just melts enemies away without any issue at all with the Alterative Fire having deadly results.

Infested | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 150

The Element for the [Trumna] against the Infested will be Gas. Gas deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds in a 3 meter radius and stacks up to 10 times to a total of 6 meters. The Build's Flex Slot is [Hammer Shot] and works amazing into the Steel Path. Simply use the weapon's Alternative Fire and watch everything get Gas Procced to Huge Clouds of Death. However, I do want to mention that if one doesn't want [Serration] and chooses [Galvanized Aptitude] instead, then the Flex Slot is going to be whatever replaces Serration, while Galvanized Aptitude replaces Hammer Shot.

Recommended Alternative Mods

  • Vigilante Supplies - In place of [Stabilizer] and helps with enhancing Crits and keeping up with Ammo Reserves. However, it will make Recoil Highly Noticeable when first firing the weapon.

  • Critical Delay or Point Strike - In place of Galvanized Scope if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration or prefers just Flat Critical Chance.

  • Serration - In place of [Galvanized Aptitude] if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration or if one would prefer Flat Damage Increase. Although this means that one will need to Forma in an Extra "V" Polarity Slot instead of a "D" Polarity Slot.

  • Split Chamber - In place of Galvanized Chamber if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration.

  • Bane Mods - In place of their Primed Counterparts if one doesn't have them.

  • (Primed) Shred - In place of the Build's Flex Slot if one would like Punch Through and Fire Rate Increase to help into the Steel Path, although it isn't fully necessary due to the weapons Alternative Fire.

  • Bladed Rounds - In place of the Build's Bane Faction Mod if one don't like using Faction Mods. If [Bladed Rounds] is already being used, then the next best Alternative would be [Point Strike] or Speed Trigger.

Synergy with Trumna

There are several ways to enhance Critical Stats and Damage for this weapon:

Damage:

  • Rhino's Roar adds bonus damage.

  • [Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of damage increase by 100% against primed enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing blast damage.

  • Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.

  • Mirage's Eclipse mixed with her Hall of Mirrors adds a massive damage bonus during the day or in light.

  • Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more vulnerable to Damage.

  • Wisp's Haste Reservoir Bolsters Fire Rate, in turn increasing DPS.

  • Banshee's Sonar gives a Huge Damage Multiplier.

  • Chroma's Vex Armor when Health gets damaged increases Weapon Damage.

Critical Stats:

  • Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.

  • Volt's Electric Shield when shot through adds a 200% Critical Damage Multiplier.

  • [Nidus]' Virulence with his Teeming Virulence Augmentation grants a large increase to Critical Chance upon hitting 4 enemies.

  • Zephyr's Passive increases Critical Chance by 150% while airborne.

  • Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give a 60% Critical Chance boost.

  • Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give 200% Crit Chance.

Arcane Synergy

  • Arcane Acceleration - Upon Critical Hit, 30% chance for 90% Fire Rate to Primary Weapons for 9 seconds.

  • Arcane Rage - Upon getting Headshot, 15% chance for 180% Damage to Primary Weapons for 24 seconds.

  • Arcane Avenger - Upon being damaged, 21% chance for 45% Critical Chance for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Primary Charger - On Melee Kill, 30% chance for 300% damage to Primary Weapons for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Arachne - On Wall Latch, 150% Damage for 30 seconds.

Primary Arcanes:

  • Primary Merciless - On Primary Kill 30% Primary Damage for 4 seconds, which stacks up to 12 times and includes a 30% Reload Speed Buff and 100% Additional Max Ammo.

Riven Synergy

When you get your hands on a Riven for this weapon the Flex Slot to replace will be what was previously discussed before. This may require 1 more Forma and in order to maximize Damage output with the Trumna, one will need to get lucky and get some nice stats. My Ideal stats would be:

  • Ideal Stats - The Ideal Stats would be; Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Fire Rate or Multishot, and Negative Zoom.
