DISCLAIMER - Due to the wonders of DE spaghetti, the armor strip on Reckoning doesn't apply properly to enemies with bonus armor (i.e. on the Steel Path). On regular enemies, this build will strip 100% of their armor in two casts. On the Steel Path, you'll need at least 5.
heyo! despite having one of the ugliest primes in the entire game, [Oberon] has a pretty well designed kit
Smite deals passable scaling damage, but you can easily replace it with something else. strong contenders include:
- Fire Elemental Ward, for 358% more health
- Larva/Ensnare, for bringing enemies into your Hallowed Ground (more on that later)
- Blood Altar, for 50% health regen per second (pretty much overkill)
- Roar, for 61% bonus damage for you and your allies
- Eclipse, for up to 306% more damage for yourself
- Warcry, for 61% bonus attack speed, 102% bonus armor for your teammates, and a 61% reduction in enemy speed
- Breach Surge, for even more CC
Hallowed Ground gives you great CC, status and knockback immunity, and bonus armor when paired with Renewal.
Renewal's health [Regen] isn't too high, but with all the CC [Oberon] has, it should be plenty. [Phoenix Renewal] stops you and your allies from dying once every 90 seconds, and it even works for Arbitrations!
Finally, Reckoning permanently strips 61% of base armor on enemies standing on Hallowed Ground, meaning you can strip 100% of enemy armor in two casts.
Arcane Energize can be replaced with anything else you want, as it's mostly there as filler. Options include Arcane [Fury], Arcane Avenger, Arcane Grace, and Arcane Strike.
[Hunter Adrenaline] may also be replaced with more strength (for a stronger Renewal), efficiency (for more Reckoning casts), or max energy (for easier energy management). The CC provided by Hallowed Ground makes it less useful.
