Use Ophidian [Bite] to heal whenever needed, cast Vial [Rush] to spread status and crowd control, cast Catalyze to nuke, and use Transmutation Probe last to reduce cooldowns. I recommend casting in a set order to optimize cooldowns, as such: Ophidian [Bite], Vial [Rush], Catalyze, Transmutation Probe. However, in most cases, you do not need to cast Ophidian [Bite]. Before casting Catalyze, I recommend using the [Cedo]'s [Glaive] function to spread status. [Lavos] is best used solo as in groups, enemies tend to get nuked before you can cast your Transmutation Probe, leaving you sitting around and waiting for your cooldowns.
