Bonewidow

Bone Mama

by last updated 3 years ago

50

This fearsome Necramech, fashioned in honor of the Entrati matriarch, is a robust front-line fighter. Favoring armor and health over shield strength, Bonewidow can grab and hurl enemies, deploy a heavy shield for personal defense, and cleave through opposing ranks with a massive warblade.

Bone Mama

Because the tooltips for [Bonewidow] kind of sucks things you should know:

1 Meathook: This ability is fairly powerful. You grab one target dealing a percentage of their max health as impact damage, deals a percentage of their max health as damage over time, AND heals [Bonewidow] a percentage of the damage you deal. This means the meater the target the more healing you get. Unfortunately this ability doesn't work on every enemy.

2 Shield Maiden: This provides 2 seconds of damage immunity and then a forward damage shield that reflects damage back. While it's not as protective as [Voidrig]'s Storm Shroud it provides more base health. Furthermore it grant faster recovery from Slide maneuvers. Unfortunately you lose access to Meathook. This ability should be up when you're not healing. It does need a better indicator for when the ability is down though.

3 Firing Line: The ability pushes all enemies around you in front of you as well as apply the Lifted condition on enemies as well as applies a x1.5 damage multiplier on enemies Lifted by this ability. It should be noted that this works even on targets that are grounded like the Orphix.

4 [Ironbride]: An exalted Archmelee. It's a bit awkward to use but pretty damn powerful. The heavy attack launches a projectile. While Shield Maiden is activate it increase the blocking angle. Not really much to say about it. It can potentially out DPS the [Arquebex] on single target but because of the way it forces you to move with the attack and roots you with the third hit it makes it pretty cumbersome, plus you'll never have as much AoE DPS potential as the [Arquebex], not the mention it being a melee weapon means you have to move to your target. Hopefully this gets some nice QoL buffs in the future.
