[Volt] has served a valuable role in Eidolon hunts since their release by providing an Electric Shield that boosts DPS and Operator damage. This build attempts to fill that unique role while also utilizing other QoL options to make your other roles in the [Hunt] easier. We subsume additional QoL or a buff to assist the DPS.
Dispensary is chosen because it synergizes with Electric Shield's placements and high Duration. Spellbind grants additional status immunity if your team doesn't already have it in their kits. Fire Walker only works if you stand completely still as the flames have a split second to kick in their status immunity when you move. Buffs like Roar, Smite, or anything that boosts damage can be run if your DPS isn't already running said abilities.
Discharge is replaced as there is no logical reason to use it during an Eidolon [Hunt]. Shock serves no purpose if you don't run [Shock Trooper] so it's another option as well.
[Corrosive Projection] is a decent DPS boost when combined with a full team outfitted with CP and 3 Coaction Drifts. In solo or duos it's not as effective but there aren't many other options for auras anyway.
Duration is the only primary focus in this build. Most of your primary abilities used in the [Hunt] only scale off of Duration and a bit of Strength. This should be enough to last a full phase.
Strength is boosted a bit from [Umbral Intensify] so that you can more easily setup your Electric Shields during the first shield DPS phase through the use of Speed and a fast Archwing. It can be replaced with Umbral Vitality if you're not running with a Wisp and/or EHP boosting frame.
Survivability is a side focus on this build. You have some extra slots to spend on [Vitality], [Adaptation], and even [Rolling Guard] if you want to replace a flex mod. [Umbral Vitality] can be run only over the Umbral Intensify if you're not using Speed to it's fullest potential to transition between various pre-shield points in archwing. Until the tau resistance is fixed they are identical and can be swapped accordingly.
[Streamline] or [Narrow Minded] are technically flex mods but replacing them has a significant impact on your energy economy.
[Natural Talent] is necessary when spamming Electric Shields. It also allows you to quickly cast any buffs or additional subsumed abilities you choose to utilize.
[Preparation] and [Primed Flow] save you a significant number of energy pads during hunts. It takes a decent amount of time to setup your shields and the energy orbs dropped from synovias or Dispensary aren't enough at the start of the [Hunt].
Arcane Energize can still proc off of the energy orbs dropped by destroyed synovias. It also greatly synergizes with Dispensary. Arcane [Guardian] grants you a large chunk of survivability while casting shields. Either can be replaced but there really aren't many options unless you're planning on being a backup DPS. Arcane Nullifier is a choice if you don't trust the Harrow and/or status protection frame to do their job.
