Revisiting

Hello everyone,

My name is UltimoFive and today we are going to be revisiting the Fulmin, The Thundershot.

Weapon Information

  • The Fulmin is Wisp's Signature Rifle which by default fires silent semi-auto Electric Pulses at Close Range and is obtained by purchasing it through the market and requires these materials to make it.

  • The Fulmin requires a mastery rank of 8.

  • The Fulmin only comes with a "V" Exilus Polarity Slot, and because of this the builds for this weapon require 5 forma.

  • The Fulmin excels in Close to Medium Range Combat and deals with High Leveled Enemies in Small to Medium Sized Crowds.

  • The Fulmin's Alternative fire switches it from Silent Semi-Auto to a Loud Full-Auto rifle that shoots streams of lightning.

Advantages

Auto-Mode:

  • High Critical Chance at 28%

  • High Critical Multiplier at 2.4x

  • Pinpoint Accuracy

Semi-Mode:

  • High Critical Chance at 30%

  • Above Average Critical Multiplier at 2.2x

  • Shots have guaranteed Impact Procs up to 10 meters

  • Innate 3 meter Punch Through

Overall:

  • Regenerates ammo and doesn't use ammo pickups

Disadvantages

Auto-Mode:

  • Low Status Chance at 10%

Semi-Mode:

  • Has Linear Damage Falloff from 100% to 33.33% from 10 meters to 20 meters, with it's limited range being 20 meters.

  • Below Average Status Chance at 16%

  • No Bonus Damage on Headshots

  • Consumes 10 ammo per shot

Overall:

  • Alternative Fire mode-switching is not instant and takes a second, but it is reduced to 0.5 seconds when wielded by [Wisp]

Builds

Corpus | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Elements for the Fulmin against the Corpus will be Viral/Electric. Electricity stuns the target for 3 seconds and deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds. The Build's Flex Slot is [Bladed Rounds]

Corrupted & Grineer | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Elements for the [Fulmin] against the Corrupted and Grineer will be Viral. Viral amplifies health damage by 100% for 6 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 325%. The Build's Flex Slot is [Primed Bane Of Grineer] & Corrupted

Infested | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Element for the [Fulmin] against the Infested will be Gas. Gas deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds in a 3 meter radius and stacks up to 10 times to a total of 6 meters. The Build's Flex Slot is Bladed Rounds

Semi-Mode Build Set | 5 Forma | Tested up to Level 155

The Elements for the Fulmin with the Semi-Auto Focused Build Set will follow Viral for the Corpus, Viral for the Corrupted and Grineer, and Corrosive or Gas for the Infested. The Flex Slot for the Corpus will be and the other Build's Flex Slots will be their Bane Faction Mod.

Alternative Mods

  • Terminal Velocity - In place of having no Exilus Mod to increase the Linear Damage Falloff of the Fulmin's Semi-Auto Mode. However, this will require 1 more Forma.

  • Split Chamber - In place of Galvanized Chamber if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration.

  • Cryo Rounds - In place of Primed Cryo Rounds if one doesn't have it.

  • Bane Mods - In place of their Primed Counterparts if one doesn't have them.

  • Galvanized Scope - In place of Critical Delay in the Auto-Mode Build Set for the Corpus if one wants more Critical Chance that would be decent to manage Headshot Kills with. This can also be put into the Infested Build, but it is a bit harder to pull off headshots against said faction.

  • Bladed Rounds or Galvanized Scope - In place of the Build's Bane Faction Mod if one don't like using Faction Mods.

Synergy with Fulmin

There are several ways to enhance Critical Stats and Damage for this weapon:

Damage:

  • Rhino's Roar adds bonus damage.

  • [Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of damage increase by 100% against primed enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing blast damage.

  • Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.

  • Mirage's Eclipse mixed with her Hall of Mirrors adds a massive damage bonus during the day or in light.

  • Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more vulnerable to Damage.

  • Xata's Whisper grants Void Status and increases Weapon Damage.

  • [Wisp]'s Haste Reservoir Bolsters Fire Rate, in turn increasing DPS. However, it makes Internal Bleeding only have a 35% chance due to the Fire Rate increasing to over 2.5 in the Semi-Auto Mode Build Set.

  • Banshee's Sonar gives a Huge Damage Multiplier.

  • Chroma's Vex Armor when Health gets damaged increases Weapon Damage.

Critical Stats:

  • Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.

  • Volt's Electric Shield when shot through adds a 200% Critical Damage Multiplier.

  • [Nidus]' Virulence with his Teeming Virulence Augmentation grants a large increase to Critical Chance upon hitting 4 enemies.

  • [Frost]'s Passive with his Biting Frost Augmentation grants a 200% increase to Critical Chance and Critical Damage upon attacking Frozen Enemies.

  • Zephyr's Passive increases Critical Chance by 150% while airborne.

  • Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give a 60% Critical Chance boost.

  • Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give 200% Crit Chance.

Arcane Synergy

  • Arcane Acceleration - Upon Critical Hit, 30% chance for 90% Fire Rate to Primary Weapons for 9 seconds. However, it makes Internal Bleeding only have a 35% chance due to the Fire Rate increasing to over 2.5 in the Semi-Auto Mode Build Set.

  • Arcane Rage - Upon getting Headshot, 15% chance for 180% Damage to Primary Weapons for 24 seconds.

  • Arcane Avenger - Upon being damaged, 21% chance for 45% Critical Chance for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Primary Charger - On Melee Kill, 30% chance for 300% damage to Primary Weapons for 12 seconds.

  • Arcane Arachne - On Wall Latch, 150% Damage for 30 seconds.

Primary Arcanes:

  • Primary Merciless - On Primary Kill 30% Primary Damage for 4 seconds, which stacks up to 12 times and includes a 30% Reload Speed Buff and 100% Additional Max Ammo.

Riven Synergy

When you get your hands on a Riven for this weapon the Flex Slot to replace will be what was previously discussed before. This can require 1 to 2 more Forma and in order to maximize Damage output with Fulmin, one will need to get lucky and get some nice stats. These stats would be:

Ideal Stats - The Ideal Stats would be; Damage, Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and Negative Zoom or Weapon Recoil.
