Just a name, to say it all, to say what this is all about. I'm a 47yo guy who accidentally became a gamer back in December 2001 and Dark Sector has been probably the game I loved most after Severance - Blade Of Darkness, a cult game from the end of the '90s that I did play back then.
Dark Sector was tough, so hard to play and yet so addictive... addictive just like Warframe, which tells DE knows how to do it. Love'em or [Hate]'em but that's a damn truth!
Anyway... this is a tribute to Dark Sector and to its protagonists... Hayden Tenno and the [Glaive]! Oh yes, I love this weapon... and this build wants to pay homage to that gameplay and wants to focus on how I did play Dark Sector back then. I love stealthy, sniper's combat and that's how I mostly used the [Glaive] back then. throwing it from a distance in a sneaky way, as much as I can.
So, no further ado... here the logic behind this build.
I needed something I could start from a distance and be as deadly as possible, and I wanted to do that in the limits of the mods I have, which aren't ranked up to their fullest yet. So here why I chose [Primed Reach] instead of any of the specific Thrown Melee mods, even at the cost of renouncing to their advantages.
Then I chose a mod that makes things quite complicate for me, because I'm not the best when it comes to parkour and my being acrobatic is something that comes its own way. Let's face it... I can hit an obstacle with surgical precision!
Anyway, as I said before, Dark Sector was tough as fuck so this build is meant to make things even more difficult for me, and for that reason I chose [Proton Snap], just because I'm still not so skilled with Wall Latch but I thought was a good way to keep faith to the build's name and honor Hayden Tenno and his [Glaive]. Whatever it takes!
This is a work in progress for me so please, feel free to copy this and, if you got any of these mods ranked up to the fullest I hope you can enjoy this build at its own best. if that does work please.... please just let me know in the comments section. I really hope you like its raw power so much to show your appreciation with a Like.
Cheers...
*PS: I find the explosive options very helpful, quite a game changer, but oddly I find it hard to play... I feel like I would break my mouse 5th button. Here why I chose to not focus this build on that. It' something I leave to another build.*
