This is a crit build, with some status sprinkled in. The Multishot and Crit upgrades make this build a lot stronger than it looks, and the tentacles carry the damage across the room easily, including the crit and multishot. With Pax Charge, you will never worry about ammo after the changes.

This will work for most content, the slash procs and viral will tear through nearly any normal/eximus enemies. Bosses will always require their own adapatation.

2021 Edition: I adjusted some of the more useless mods and effects, added some cleaner damage -- kept the range and increased Status. :)
2023 Edition: With knowledge comes power, updated the set-up for more consistent high-level play.
